             is a reincarnation of Past Heroes of time. This Incarnation is a descendent of M.F.G.'s AxKingsXRevengeX's 'MvC Link' and combat style is heavily influenced by the heroes of 'Twilight Princess' and 'Skyward Sword'.<


   Now that the intro and shout outs have been given..
This is my WIP of "Link, Hero Of Time"...I decided to sprite/ re-sprite this one in order of basic movements to attacks and specials... So here's some of the the animation progress so far,, Sorry no flashy attacks yet... thoughts, comments and constructive criticism are welcome

Light Punch+Medium Kick Light Kick+Medium Punch
Light Punch x3 (XXX)
Update:Been play testing the hell out of the character to try to balance em out.
Skyward Strike (Heavy Kick)Heavy Punch
Guard Push
Boomerang
Bomb
Arrow attacks
Standard
Bomb
fire(Burns,Cost energy)
Ice(Freezes,Cost energy)
Light(Electricution,Hyper,Cost energy)
Lie Down/dead
Progress: about 50-60% Crouch attacks,aerial attacks and Spin attack needs to be sprited next before release.

Looking good so far, but the walk is really awkward. I can't really describe it. Maybe its his legs?
Other than that, the shading on his left leg (artists right) is questionable during certain animations.
Keep it up!

His arm needs to be drawn in closer to his body and it could also use some animation IMO.
Also his neck seems to be sucked in.
Nowhere near done but certainly off to a good start
Promising indeed.
Not looking bad at all for starters dude, I'll definitely be following this project. ;)

This is pretty damn awesome. I was planning on eventually recoding AxKeeper's Link but I think I'd rather wait until you finish this one and code (or recode) it.

Thanks for the feedback...I will definitely look into the shading for future animations and eventually clean the current ones up....As for his right arm, foreseen sprites of it (mainly in attacks) will be more animated and scaled better  :dadadadaa:

A lot of the sprites shown above have the same head pasted over and over again, maybe a little more variety will solve the problem. Looks good either way, hope to see Link completed.

His arms seem really long in the stance, but otherwise it looks good. Nice to see you avoided the muscular look Axking decided on, I always thought that was a little unfitting for Link. I also can't really tell what the bases are, so good job SaturnFrost.

AMAZING!! cool job dude, but his body is to big, he is a bit more thinner, skinny but not anorexic and his pose u know its different from what im looking.

Took a Little Break But Im back on the Saddle
A Slight Update in the O.p,
-Portrait Done
-Basic Movements are being cleaned up

looks awesome though the stance looks kinda stiff maybe you could a bit of a horizontal movement to some of the body parts

His sword arm could use some movement in his stance. His arm looks weirdly stiff while he's bouncing. I'm lovin this project, so much better than AxKeeper's attempt.
