Hey everybody, I used to play around with M.U.G.E.N about ten years ago, and I've recently started to get back into it. I never really did any coding, but I've decided that I want to pick it up and work on it during my down time.
I've been gazing through the tutorials and they have certainly helped, but I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to just help me first hand and sort of guide me through some of the steps necessary to start coding characters and stages, etc.
I'm not looking for constant attention but just someone who would open to helping me at some point during the week, you know.

At the very least I'm happy to be here and you are all beautiful people.

You can learn faster and better if you actually begin by coding basic stuff and if you have troubles, then post your questions and someone will help you. You learn more from your mistakes than by following someone else's advice.

hello!!!!! getting into coding takes quite some dedication and can feel frustrating in the immediate, but in the long run is totally worth it. I started learning about 2 years ago. I learned all the basics and intermediate techniques from Ryon's Tutorials these are really good videos because he explains the objective of the tutorial, the technique, and how the code pieces together to reach the objective. So you'll have a better experience with troubleshooting because he helps you understand the "bigger picture". you can learn some advanced techniques from reading some of the posts in the development and help forums or asking.

anyway good luck!!
