Yes, that's right. For those who have not read or do not keep up with my Midnight Bliss and Shock Project, I am looking for people who are willing to work with me to make the palettes of the sprites used for the project to work correctly with the characters they're meant for. I have honestly given it a try using ACT File Editor, and while I get the default palette working 100% with the shock aura, other palettes suffer from not changing colors or changing colors incorrectly.

So yeah...anyone willing to give a bro a hand? I have no idea how much work it would be, nor can I pay or anything like that...

I apologize as well if this is in the wrong section. I am not sure where else this would go. ^^;;

How many characters are you looking to do? Are you just going to host the images or re-release them?
I'm getting better at working with pallets. Right now I'm starting to rip War sprites from Darksiders. I can give it a go, but dont promise anything.
I dont have the time to go hunting for the proper characters and images. If you could post links, I could dl and get to work.
Maybe through PM on here.
If you're on EFnet we can talk over IRC. I'd be a way to communicate faster than a forum.

I don't know how many will need it, seeing as I'd have to go through each of my MUGEN characters that has gotten patches from the project and see which ones don't work 100% with all of the palettes. I'll more than likely be re-releasing the images with upcoming packs if they get fixed properly, including PCX files, so that people can use them with the appropriate characters.

A good example would be this:

For Kohaku's Remilia (if you want to try and give it to another Remilia, like say Nachel's, you can try to fix this for that. Probably would be best for that one since there's another shock that's going to be for Kohaku's Remilia later.):

Kohaku's Remilia: http://kohaku.mugen-infantry.net/type-mugen/characters
Nachel's Remilia (if you can transfer the palette from this one to that one): http://www.geocities.jp/gs_black_lake/frame.html

That'll be the test here. One will be to make the palette work properly with Kohaku's Remilia (and all of her palettes). Second will be to make it work with Nachel's Remilia (requiring to fit the shock sprites in with that character's palettes).

Ok, I'm really confused now. So here's an example for ya'll:

As you can see, in the default palette (the top one), the yellow color of the shirt is in the right place, in which the shock sprite of which I add will be correct. However, in any other palettes, such as palette #2 (the black palette), that yellow color now jumps to a completely different box, but since the sprite(s) that I put in doesn't jump to said color and stays at the same spot the original yellow color was, it ends up not changing and screwing up the palette on the sprite.

In addition to the Trap Satoko, the Remilia up above also has this issue. Kohaku's palettes for her do the same thing as Trap Satoko (and I'd assume other authors do too), where the default palette is correct, but due to the alt palettes jumping from one color to the next (in Remilia's case, the whitest part of her dress), it'll screw up anything added into the character.

So the question is, how do I deal with putting sprites into these characters without the palettes getting screwed up by colors jumping from one another??
