Blue Sun Studi-Update:I had to get this out into the public before too much of my time was taken up. If any of you remember the palette template I made back on the Z2 Sprite Thread, then you know that I've made a pseudo-palette template using sprites before (some of which where ultimately unused). Here are the official ones I plan on using:TEMPLATEAlternate TemplateThe first one of for an idea of having coding like SF3 Gill, while the second one is for without the SF3 Gill coding. Until Majin Vegeta is given a single line of coding he will share Vegeta's SFF, which I separated minus the idle stance and maybe one or two animations he never uses. I've sent both versions of the SFF to Cybaster and he'll be checking it out to see how it will work. In the meantime, I'll showcase some of the palettes I've made for both versions (although I'll only show the first version) to give you an idea of how they'll look when MV is spruced up:Default v1Default v2Default v3SSJ Goku Z2New TDC SSJ5New Galacta KnightKazuyaKazuya SuitPlease note that all curse marks and hyper dimension aura sprites not done by Balthazar will be done explicitly by me unless the other Team Z2 members choose to do so. And I may be quite a bit unusual as to how said sprites will work. In the meantime, just be patient and if you want you may make palettes with the new templates. I'll go through some of Balthazar's current animations for MV, extract them, and index them with the colors shown in the templates, as well as remake my palettes. With the addition of the aura there, the original authors can remake their older palettes, or I can do that and add different colors to the aura myself. With that said, I'm signing off the air.
Really like the kazuya one, Kinda fit is personality and look at the same time. Also like the Goku one, make me think of Ninja storm 3, when they gave that Goku outfit to naruto
If he doesn't get Gill coding-meaning not immediately but period-then the Kazuya palettes will have both of his eyes red. The Goku colors were directly imported from SSJ Goku Z2's default palette in case no one noticed right away. The others are either remade (TDC SSJ5 and Galacta Knight) or based on other palettes (the Defaults).
Thanks. I'm still in the process of converting my older palettes and the palettes others made for him (I had to do some college work and put it off for a while).
Considering majin code is not yet started i suggest that bluesun opens a new thread of his own if he plans to discuss his sprite adaptations there. I feel it could bring in error people looking for majin updates to find only vegeta color separation.
If the separation will have its own thread, it wouldn't be appropriated to move it to Sprite Projects section?
Well, here are a few for the more advanced separation xDAlther Primus (since Z2 team doesn't use HR FX I decided to experiment with black):Cloud Strife (Advent Children):Kane:
Those are some pretty unique palettes Alther. The one with black aura is pretty interesting considering how I had the light sources set up, but it's not bad at all.
Blue Sun Studi-Update: A few screenshots to show you that (extremely minimal) progress has been done.I previously put off the project for some time to focus on my college studies, but now I should be able to work on it more. The first five screenshots were done to P2's left, and the last one was done to their right to show how MV should ultimately look in game when he's done. These are genuine screenshot teasers, and this is basically a very obvious W.I.P. (such as the Full Power Ki Blast which will change in the future). The normal Vegeta sprites are all finished and will be updated and sent real soon, and if I'm intelligent enough I'll help out with coding some stuff; until then I will need to consult with Cybaster/God's Anger (hopefully not too inconveniently). Currently, from the light punch to the new strong kick's animations are done, but some weren't implemented yet due to tricky coding beyond my skill (all strong punches and medium kicks). And the screenshots were taken in MUGEN 1.1b (the only version that runs smoothly on my Windows 8 CPU), so that should answer your questions about the portraits.
