Making Helpers

Im new OK. lets just get that out of the way.

When i write this i assume that helpers are "extra characters" that spawn with a character such as goofy, aladin, donald duck, etc. with the character sora. I wanted to know how to do this with other characters that i make or have downloaded.

read the docs at http://mugenguild.com/docs/

specifically the Expressions section and the State controller reference section which contain the most info about helpers.

All of the docs are practically required reading if you want to make anything for mugen they are even included within the mugen engine download.

You want to add a... Sakura character you downloaded as a helper for... a Dan you downloaded ?
Even for someone who has experience in Mugen coding, while the concept is fairly easy, it's way too much work and too much time.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

I think Super_Sloth is asking for what the definition of helpers is.  Super_Sloth gave companion characters as an example possibly for use as strikers or assists or something and asked how to add them to other characters that Sloth makes or as an edit to already made characters.

Helpers have more uses than just that but making an "extra character" is one way to use them.

a helper is another object, so they can do anithng a muge object can.
