I have followed uroz23's mugen ultimate tutorial in fighter factory part 1 until 6:55 with no problems. When I add sprites in the 1st sprite will be black and the rest will will be fine. When thats not the problem the problem is most of the sprites are all different colors. What am I doing wrong? ???

What am I doing wrong? ???Your sprites have different pallets. An easy fix is to copy one open another and paste over then save as this make them all have the same pallet if you keep saving over the same one. Note: this is for MS Paint only.If you have photoshop then give all sprites the same pallet.
Rajaa it's not his pallet but his source. He's using .BMPs he made in MS Paint.Ms paint saves th image 256 and creates a pallet base on whats in the file when it is saved. If you made another image of the same set of sprites but this time the lips are shown and are red the MS Paint pallet would change it's order for the image so when you put them into .sff even though lips are red in both images the color is in a different part of the image so you get transparent stuff and thing change color. To fix it with MS paint use Image one as a base image when I say base i mean this has the ms paint pallet that you will use for every image. Open the next image copy the image now paste over image 1 and save as image 2. You will have to do this for every image alsos pasting over image 1 and save as the number of the image that you want it to be. Be careful you don't save over image 1 though or you will have to make it again. This is why ms paint is not recommended for making the sprites but if you are like me and only use open or free stuff then you will get used to this sort of short comings. You might want to download the gimp you can edit pallets with it but you would have to save the files to Jpeg to do it and then save as 256 .bmpIf it is not the case that you are using .bmps and you are using a sprite file from somewhere then the problem is in the FF Pallets and is an easy fix.
Oh i read only the first sentence...yes it's not good to have many sprites with different colors.....thats makes pallettes even harder.
thanks for the help! I'm using Kong's sprites then i used Advanced Batch Converter to convert into pcx files. After that I loaded fighter factory went to sprites then add. I already had my pallet made as his tutorial shows. Once I added the standing animations the 1st frame will come out all black but after that the rest are normal. If I click add pallet to all then it comes out like a tye die shirt. Once loaded into mugen if it was black the character will be all black but if it was like the tye die shirt it won't show up. I have GIMP and Photo shop should I use those to make the act file? I don't even know if that the problem. lol
I'm not familiar with kongs sprites. I don't think he would make them all messed up. You can use ff to make the pallet you need. I know you say you have but first thing is make sure you have it included in the .def file. In FF you can make a pallet from a sprite and then save the pallet after that you have to add the pallet's name to the .def this should fix the problem.
thats your problemyou have to convert the sprites manually , because the program will make them pcx, but rbg mode not indexed.just convert them to indexed mode in photoshop.then open that one sprite save the pallet of it, and apply all the other indexed sprites to it.

ok, then his problem is that he has image 9000,0 sprite not applied to his sprites pallet, which makes every other sprites thats shared after it black.
When creating a new SFF in fighter factory. There is a blank frame in the .sff. You need to delete that after adding one sprite. Otherwise it will treat that as your initial pallete and attempt to share it onto sprites afterwards.Guah. I figured that out the first time i used FF. Oh look a blank frame that i have no use for. Wonder if it's going to cause issues. Lets get rid of it and see what happens.I shouldn't be helping anyone right now, i'm going through a phase of hating this section.
