Hi..i just recently upgraded to 3mbps internet and when im downloading things it shows its only using 360kbps..why is that?
everything else that's using my bandwidth is closed..is this common or is there a third party program that allows you to use all of your internet?

The site you're downloading your stuff can also have a limited upload speed.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

3mbps = 3 megabit per second = 3000000 bit per second

one byte = 8 bit

3000000 bit per second = 375000 byte per second = 366 kilobyte per second

bps are NOT b/s, same goes for kbps, mbps and kb/s or mb/s accordingly. internet providers just use "bit" instead of "byte" as unit of measurement, because with a factor eight in there those numbers sound so much bigger.
