It is as the subject. Was the report It is not only the creators of Japan.
By the way, I have noticed it's today.
I sad as that is with reference to (especially Kohaku_K) his character.
I want to revive him hopefully...

However, what is excluded image of Nanaya is but have also used Sakuya_K it suspicious how it thinks.

Just noticed it when I tried to redownload one of Kohaku's stuff and then got this:

Really suspicious they'd use yahoo mail since on the Ecole website you can clearly see they use @e56.info if you look around. At least the webmaster of all things.
I'm assuming they're using fake reports as well

⑨ checks his bbs here and there, but as far as I recall, he has never revealed his actual e-mail. Only way to contact him is via bbs and wait for his response. He does check his bbs periodically, though.

See, this is exactly the thing that happens when you don't have a central community where people can see the news in the community... even if it's a bad one.


That's the biggest problem I've seen with the Japanese MUGEN community. It's all BBS, e-mail, and Twitter; there are no forums like we're used to seeing.

There are a few japanese authors that are actually aware of the situation, one of them being Shiroto (whose site is still up).

From the few I could understand from the broken translator is that Shiroto was just as shocked as many other authors still online from the sudden takedowns.

I don't think they would give a shit about his IP. However, it would be very simple to tell them he's a fake by pointing out the wrong mail address.

You know, if the guy is THAT vehement about it, what makes you think another non-permanent filelocker storage is going to be any less easy to take down?

Ever since the whole Megaupload thing, it can't be that hard to falsify claims and get stuff taken down. It made filelocker sites a bit paranoid about what goes up (and caused things like Turbobit blocking American IPs). Some are probably more easy to sway than others, but, it's probably possible to bullshit any of them into pulling something.

Alright so apparently Sennou Room's Hisui was hit by a takedown again, and I feel compelled to give my 2 cents on the issue: what exactly are we losing by contacting Ecole directly and confirming whether or not it is them?

Current scenario: Someone claiming to be Ecole is issuing copyright takedowns of Melty Blood creations for Mugen.
 
Possible outcomes from contacting Ecole directly:
  • Ecole was not behind the takedowns, and tracks down the guys responsible while letting us continue with Melty Blood stuff. Mugen Communities win
  • Ecole was behind the takedowns all along. Nothing changes.
  • Ecole was not behind the takedowns, but becomes aware of Mugen's existence and begins issuing takedowns of their own. Nothing changes.

TLDR; we have nothing to lose but everything to gain by contacting Ecole directly. I don't see why those affected are afraid to contact them for confirmation (aside from the obvious language barrier)?

I don't see what makes you think that Ecole would give a shit if you told them that someone was using their name to take stuff down off the Internet. Also, it's pretty much a given it's not them, the mail address being wrong is a dead giveaway.
