This is a basic stage i made by myself and the info needed to make it by my friends and if you want a link to the download feel free i'll upload  a vid on youtube when i do so.

To be perfectly honest. The stage looks awful.

People pretty much never use still images for good stages. Even if you do use just one image for the background, at least make it appear as if there is a floor..and choose a background that makes sense.

I mean, why would a giant Kirby be floating in the background, ya know?

david =hmm bounds r a bit confuse offset also color lost mostly only shows whit kirby
over all score 5.5  needs a bit more work practice but since it was made for friends and mostly takes 7 min. of time to make a stage like this score is 7

okay i thank you all for your tips and advice on this this is a basic stage i made and my first i need the input so i can see what i might need to add later on i think i may need to add a floor thats better but in the mean time keep posting tips and advice i realy need it for a beginner like me

Wow

2D floors don't work very well.
Color loss is incredible (even the white has it).
Floor isn't even even.
Megaman chars don't fit.
NES Megaman is on the exact same fightplane as chars with is problematic.
Other Megaman chars are just randomly floating there (and one even has shadows for some reason).

thx for the input on it i realy like the feed back so far i can say it's not an easy job making a basic stage with good quality any who i'd like more feedback the more the better

You'd definitely be better off if you had multiple layers on any stages that you make from now on. You see how everything in the image has colorloss..like how it just all looks shitty quality? Well that is because the entire stage is condensed into one image. A PCX image is very limited to how many colors it could have, which is why this happens.

What you need to learn to do is add multiple layers, so that one layer could be floor, the other could be the background, and etc etc for anything else you wish to add.

For a beginner like you, I suggest you try messing around and coming up with a stage that has 2 layers, and try to make it something that makes sense, ya know? Good luck!

Actually no. This is because Mugen has a 256 color limit, PCX isn't lossy like that.

Viruses?

Esnips isnt that bad. its 5GB limit does help! and its better then those temporary file hosting services that you have to reupload every 30-60 days.
