After his signature he actually keyed in today's date. Dat ONOHIDEO may be trolling us after all.

So far, the game(s?) has been surrounded by speculation about Moby Dick, Joakim Mogren, The Phantom Pain's empty letter figures ... We're all talking about a game that has barely even been confirmed.

If this is just another way for them to size the cultural impact of their franchise, I'll just say David Hayter was trending in Twitter at the time of the Trailer announcement of a game he wasn't even in. That says a lot.

MGS5 will end with a young Solid Snake, he'll get one line, and it'll be David Hayter delivering it.
Hibernating.

That would be a perfect way to end the Big Boss saga.

This is perfect for me since I don't have any of the MG games on the PS3.

Y'know, I'll have to talk about the big elephant in the room, here - why hasn't Kojima took any possibilities of remaking Twin Snakes?

Because he'd have to do it from the ground up unless he's remaking it for the WiiU.

That game was made for the PSOne, and is still awesome (except for the graphics probably). When remade for the Gamecube, it was a steaming pile of shit (which I bought) with inferior cutscenes (whacky), inferior voice acting (lazy, Gray Fox changed), and the MGS2 gameplay made the game too easy (you could kill guards from VERY far away).

So ... unless he uses the low bitrate quality Voice Acting from the PSOne version, and the HD models from MGS4, there's no reason why he should remake that masterpiece of a game (which you can enjoy at 100% in a PS3 already, so why bother?)

I dunno, I kinda like it.

I mean, considering what Kojima has, he could ask for the assets (models, maps, etc), and remake it to the original's standards. Though, yes, the voice clips would be an issue.
