Finally... Scarfless Mina:

Some anims:

New Stuff of her(located in SS0Mina10)

Details of her Youkai version were located in Minainfo

Important things:

- She's not completely finished but atleast her entire required moves for mugen are available. Till now it's still need some of her fatality gethit anims which is came from SS0SP when every character's does they're own zetsumei. Done ! She's now 100% Thanks to Abster

- The arch/bow thing are not available eversince I didn't edit the arch/bow, but they're also capable to use with her scarf or not. In other way you could just rip her arch/bow from the games then use them to my edits. Edit: Just need a little retouchment for her archer's belt/Quiver. Done ! get them in SS0Minawp.rar, however the anims that didn't involved her weapon are not included. Therefore if you want a full sprite sheet of her get both of the archives.

- Although I didn't include her arch/bow, there's a new moves of her such as taunt, & her new winpose. Surely I will add the arch/bow later... Done !

- !!!! There's a violent & porn stuff of her !!!! This was came from the games, I just added them in the pack eversince I want all of Mina's sprites are available. Removed her violent stuff.(specially the blood thing)

- Wuwo's Mina rips from SST are all done however eversince the sprites from SST didn't require most of her moves from her previous games: Sungan No Mukae, db+C, Tenkyuushin, Retract Champuru, & even her SDM, therefore I mix them with my rips & Alcaster24's rips. Btw in Wuwo's rips I've found some unknown stuff of her, they were located in SS0Mina06 2nd row.

- Axis?! Just see her in the game.

- Colors? Those were an NBC styled.

thanks for sharing MY edits.. just kidding.

Judging by my experience by dampir i suggest you to bale the file using the date or something, so when you finish or add more sprites to the set, it does not become confusing.

He meant "vowel", and he's saying that he mispelled "name", and seeing the vowels (a,e,i,o,u), "bale" was meant to be "name". >_<

Anyway, very very nice edits you have here. Top notch quality, will look at all of them later to see if I can spot some mistakes. :)

Updated her sheet. What's new or fixed?

- Fixed panty color problem

- Added some missing gethit anims(located in SS0Mina08)

- Some Fatality gethit(located in SS0Mina09)

Blame for my lazyness because I was too impatient to put them into a single frame... :omg:

Btw For her archer's belt/quiver need a little retouchment for the missing pixel which is covered by her scarf a little.

You mean the anims on the 2nd row? Thats one of her stance but she is just shaking her arrow from her quiver, & on the 3rd row it's her stance without her weapon. Damn, I really have to wrote the sprite's feature on my sheet.

I guess not from the original games but I found something that look alike with parry on SS0Mina06 2nd row 8th & 9th sprites, that sprites were came from Wuwo's rips.

you're right, they both look excellent for a standing parry :sugoi:
you think it's a good idea if I use both sprites and set a random trigger so you see her use both parries?
in other words if I parry'd like a 3 hit combo it'd show sprite # 8,9,8 ?

it seems like with her youkai stance she has her weapon but on the sprite sheet she doesnt.
hm, if I remember correctly she should be holding her weapon in every sprite?
so its a good idea to make her a weaponless character huh?

and also, I have a few ideas in mind, like some more sprites for her crouching attacks so she could have some cool chain comboing.
chain comboing or the CVS2KOF type of comboability for her... haven't decided yet
I'll see what I can do though because CVS2 reuses some attack sprites anyway

for some reason I have patience going through the process of making the sprite frames, but there's surely a lot of them xD

Well, that's up to you then, but imo the 8th one surely decent for her parry & the 9th one it looks like she's holding a sword when opponent(who used sword) attack her. However the 8th one has her weapon separated while the 9th one it doesn't, maybe it's used for her parry without her weapon. Btw I never played SST so I'm not sure whether that's a parry or not.

Youkai Mina are currently in progress since I'm working for her SDM, Zetsumei, & some additional anims.(to make sure that she's completely different than original Mina Majikina), therefore I didn't include them on my rar file. Might I'll release them separately.

Yes, they does however not all for ex: like her 2nd row anims on SS0Mina01, & like I told you that the weapon themself are also in progress.

Hmm... Not really imo because her weaponless attacks are totally less than her weapon mode. Again that's up to you, I just share this & let people use them whatever they want.

I've made one new crouch attacks located in SS0Mina10 1st row 4th, 5th, & 6th sprites. Hmm... Might some of her crouch kicks were come in handy for combo, but I'll see what I can for another crouch attacks.

yeah, I didn't think that was a good idea either.
alright as you progress on the spriting I'll get to work on the SFF and all that stuff too.
so far... I made 12 palettes, and added in her few stances. I'm gonna continue converting the sprite sheets into frames for the SFF.
I can't wait for even more sprites  :D

edit:
what's that anim after her running sprites in the 7th row of SS0Mina01?
it looks like a jumping state but what exactly is it called & for?

edit again: what's that last sprite of her curling up after her jumping sprites in SS0Mina01? (8th row)
                wait... looks to me like a wall jump! am I correct? :D

Jump anims right? I've included the anims on my 1st post, all of her jump anims were only located in SS0Mina01's 8th row 1st to 7th. As for the startup jump you could use one of her crouch sprite located in SS0Mina01 5th row 1st sprite, & for landing you could use her crouch sprite again but since she need to push down her body while landing you must use 5th row 1st to 4th then to standing again you use 7th to 10th.



You better play her in SS0/SS0SP to analyze her moves, then you'll figure it out which sprites that you must use for certain moves + you'll also know her proper axis....

you should just DL ss0sp to get her entire movelist, but if you can't dont worry as she didnt get new moves except for her "near death secret", so yeah, SS0 will work...

In Samurai Showdown V, I don't see the Directional Kicks 1 & 2 in SS0Mina03, so I'm not sure of how I to use those.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well aside from that, I guess I just need a few more of her moves, such as her Standing & Crouching kicks.

However, I have set her 'Kick Attack' (which you labeled) as her Standing Heavy Kick in SS0Mina03.

edit: and I'm not adding Champuru because I think that thing's annoying. I'm thinking of using her 'Champuru, kocchi-oide" sprites as her Dodge anim for S-Groove and such, but that anim might not look too much like a dodge. Well I'll try anyway.

edit again: I'm gonna use her 'Bust Rage' anim as her power-charging anim in SS0Mina06

Dir kick 01: f+c, Dir Kick 02: d+c in air, & Dir kick 03: df+c. For more info of her moves you can see her movelist in Gamefaqs.

Dodge are good in her 1st row(SS0Mina06), there's two version low & high.(weird) I think her Kocchi-oide is good for her winpose if you don't want to include Champuru. I agree with you that Champuru is annoying but some of her winpose involved Champuru(SS0Mina07: winpose03 & winpose 04), I'm thinking Champuru should appear during her winpose only.(after she beat her opponent)

Those bust rage are good for her Power Max(N-groove & EX-groove) imo, & her power charge is supposed to be sits & meditating.(SS0Mina06: 2nd row 1st to 5th)

Yeah the only reason why I chose "Bust Rage" anim for her super charge is because it'll look more like she's molding ki/super (or chakra lol jk :P)

but yeah, I observed that for most CVS characters have their Power Max anim as their power charge, the only difference is Super Charge anims have a looptype and whatnot

If you create your own version of Standing Medium Kick, since it is for the SMK purpose, I'll set her "Kick Attack" as her Standing Near Medium Kick, or even just replace it.

Another question, do you suggest using her aerial attacks in SS0Mina04 for her basic punches/kicks ?
Or are you going to make some sprites for her aerial attacks as well?

I absolutely agree with that... It's just strange why those kick were deals low damage...

Hmm... I've been thinking that her aerial attacks(when shot) could works when she attack forwardly or backwardly when jumping, also eversince her weapon attack came from her punches I guess it'll be good for her punch instead of kicks.

I was just messing around though setting that to KFM's Super.

I hope to give her the hopping-type dashes like Terry & Rock.

ok i got all the stuff downloaded now how do i use this on mugen?

What are you talking about? This is a spritepacks not a Mugen character, just download them on the 1st post then you can use them :P.

Wait... haha I think that's only her standing parry. Didn't you create an aerial and crouching sprites?

Didn't you analyze my packs accurately? Have a look at SS0Mina12 either weapon(SS0Mina.rar) or no weapon(SS0Minawp.rar), besides I already stated in no weapon sheet. As for the weapon sheet you can have a look to exact the parry one with weapon.
