  • HOW HIGH CAN YOU TRY
I havent looked through all of the pages in the config help so sorry if something like this has already been asked. I have the EVE screenpack but I found some other features from another screenpack that I would like to use instead of the EVE counterparts, like the VS screen and some others. Will somone help me with this problem please?

You're exactly in the same situation I am. I'm customizing the SNK vs Capcom Ultimate with many other features from other screenpacks, and even adding some stuff by me. For this you'll have to edit every .def file and every .sff to which those make reference. The sff can be edited with charcad. For the defs files use a text editor (preferably with many undos). Now it's just a matter of taking a look at the code. I have no idea at all of programming and I can do most of the things I want now, after some days investigating how everything works. You have backgrounds, animations, actions, etc everything with references to groups and numbers which you can see in the sff file. You can also read numbers indicating the time of the frames, etc. Then, you also have to consider the order of the things in the def file because that determines how to the front or to the background the action is. Try editing the logo.def before just to test. Then go for system, which is more complicated and has many groups there: title, select, vs, etc. Read any tutorial and you'll find lots of help. And of course try and try and try. I think I must have loading my mugen 1000000 times this week just to try and see if this works or not.

well you would need to take what you want from sff files  add them to your currant sff file with fighter factory or mcm
