Titiln said, April 17, 2014, 06:27:16 pmFeLo_Llop said, April 17, 2014, 06:11:25 pmSecond onei made the second rule up. it's not in the forum rules. way to read the rulesI know . That's why I added this:FeLo_Llop said, April 17, 2014, 06:11:25 pmIt's a not speciffically written rule, but you know it's RUDE to ask others for doing your stuff. At least, contribute in one way or another. Umezono said, April 17, 2014, 06:28:47 pmOh shit lmaoBut seriously just shouting" comtribute" at a person whos totally new to the scene ia pretty counterproductive Some new people here has started doing stuff or at least, trying to. I'm positively surprised with some of them, to be honest.
FeLo_Llop said, April 17, 2014, 06:35:00 pmI know .then why are you complaining about people not reading the rules? start making senseFeLo_Llop said, April 17, 2014, 05:24:51 pmEasy. People can read the rules.
I have read them. And read them again to find that "don't ask for stuff to be done". I know I saw it somewhere, not remembering where.Until, TADAH! Alex rung the bell. Alex Sinigaglia said, April 17, 2014, 06:28:59 pmIt's similar to this one in the request section:QuoteDo not ask for content to be created! Also, it seems you're still avoiding the remarked part. Cool.
yeah, but that's a completely different context ; it's like in the porn board and we have a rule of not posting child pictures. it's ok to post child pictures in the reguar boards because you just became a father or something so posting a picture of your kid playing nintendo is cute, but the context of the porn board makes posting child pictures a pretty horrible thing to do.
FeLo_Llop said, April 17, 2014, 06:59:26 pmAlso, it seems you're still avoiding the remarked part. Cool.i ignored it because this is not the request boardanyway, this isn't really going anywhere. stop telling people to read the rules when you yourself are unaware of them, and stop being a shithead to new posters that make outlandish requests. you literally admitted you were baiting this guy in your first post in this thread. cut that shit out.
I also read like he was requesting RS chars to be made for MUGEN, maybe the answer could be harsh, but that's what usually we say to newcomers that asked for chars like this, probably this thread should be started on requests if I'm not wrong.Well, back on the thread, I would like to see Edge on MUGEN, I remember some old fellow from Mugen Hispania made an anim of his standing pose edited from PIM's Kuno brothers
Titiln said, April 17, 2014, 07:20:46 pmYou cut that shit out. Felo's first post was unnecessary, but only because it never achieves anything. It wasn't aggressive at all, just insensible, and he wasn't "jumping on the newcomer". He wasn't breaking the first rule you quoted or anything. It certainly wasn't worth dragging it out like that.
DKDC said, April 17, 2014, 09:24:03 pmthe post was admittedly baiting the user. i don't think that counts as "handling unexperienced members with special patience". it dragged out because felo went on about nonexisting rules instead of admitting that maybe he was wrong and leaving it at that
Titiln said, April 18, 2014, 06:43:15 pmthe post was admittedly baiting the user. i don't think that counts as "handling unexperienced members with special patience".It wasn't harmful and it didn't warrant any response.
"it didn't warrant any response""but two moderators responded""yeah but it wasnt a response like yours"oh ok
Two moderators responding doesn't actually mean it warranted a response (but you're free to think otherwise !), and even when they did respond (by throwing a word of caution), they didn't go overboard like you did with your bait and your cut that shit out.
People, enough. About bashing and etc, Titiln, you have bashed some other people here in the guild(old posts, nothing that new...oh well, I guess the last thing in the Spanish Only doesn't counts, right? right?) and no one has complained. Some of us have had some "dialogues" with others and using bad words or using ugly expressions, and...ended. Let's remember Blue_Blood, who you propposed to be banned from the Spanish Only section. She was "banned" from there, while the other girl hasn't. The other girl rarely appears. And both them had a HUGE arguement. You, I and others were implied, so, why just banning her? You were a moderator(or global moderator? I don't remember) during that time, supposedly you have had to put peace there instead of fire.Of course she told some ugly things, but EVERYONE(you included) said some kind of things. You're not clean, so stop whiteknighting.I don't want to speak more about this. You have your point of view, I have mine. You will never see your own stuff while I will not see mine. End of discussion :/.Also, even that rule doesn't appears in the "general" rules, it kinda appears in the request section.
Here's another moderator chiming in: it did warrant Titiln's response. Don't be a douche to new members. Don't try and bait them. If they do something unwise, try and help them out instead of castigating them for their failure. The entire point of this forum is to provide an environment where people can come together and make MUGEN content, and thus we should nurture new users and support them, not throw disdain and try and bait them when they don't immediately grasp every nuance of the rules or the community. C'mon guys. This shit is unacceptable.
Just to clarify it's not a big deal to ask for something to be made in idea engineering. The rule in the request board is specifically for that board. Otherwise you'd find it in the general rules of the forum. It's not a big deal to ask. You never know, it might happen. You should look at what happened with your Street Fighter thread. Although you can contribute great sprite work it can still be viewed as asking others to create a game for you. It'd been easy just to tell you to learn yourself. But that's not very good discussion practices.
