A HCB for one of her supers? That just seems wrong. I say stick with the life drain on EX Soul Fist, stealing meter would make it far too powerful.

Exactly. What worries me is the EX Soul Fist... life drain?? doesn´t convince me unless is a slow movement version a la UMVC3...

It didn't cost meter in MvC3, it needed some other downside. Costing meter is probably going to be enough as long as it doesn't cost too much meter. Besides, it drained meter in MvC3.

Boring sprites are boring. Overused to the MAX. Use the sprites made by LiKun(sp?).

Am I the only one who doesn't like those sprites either?  I dunno what it is, but the shading and proportions just look really strange to me.  Also it may not have all the anims Avenger needs for his moveset.

Which ones are you talking about? LiKun's? If so, nah, you crazy mang. Those LiKun's sprites are sexy as hell. I've been on the ropes on updating PotS Morrigan with said sprites. Cause I'm sure he would have himself, if he were still around. If you're talking about Morrigan's DS sprites, then I sorta agree. I really don't have a problem with them, outside the fact that they were recycled OVER and OVER again. She's never had an alternate 2D spriteset. Pocket Fighter stuff doesn't count. :P Capcom were uber lazy with her. They didn't update her, until they were forced to with MvC3. :-\

Though, I can meet you with the notion that all the anims needed for LA's envisioned moveset, may not be available in LiKun's spriteset of her. A damn shame really.

Fixed......since it was technically that one where they finally retired the sprites.

And while I may like LiKun's sprites myself...........I honestly don't mind it in this case.

I think it's just oddly fitting to use the overdone as hell DS sprites for this.

Im using her old set cause of clashing purposes mostly. It would be odd if only one of the DS characters got a new set(though I kind of like both sets. Morrigan just needs to be scaled a little is all). I dont really like her old set that much either, but meh. This same thing applies to the new sets for Rose and Cammy that Felo made/is making(I like those too lol). Guy needed a better set too.

I had to adjust her crouching clsn a bit(Cammy treatment) because she was ducking under fireballs.

Jnp made the anti air soul fist sprites for me btw. Thanks again for that, man!

Probably not. I doubt Capcom would have given it to her if she had been in CFJ and she already has 4 supers as is. Sorry
