i hope you all dont think i am making some collaboration of chars throwing in some stages an sticking the name mk4 on it....


its way more then that im making something totally new to the mk mugen scene,i kno i havent been able to show to much im sry 4 that at this time,but i assure the people that even tho im not always going to be on here i still working at it,i will post videos as soon as i can on gameplay,im trying to make it a close to the original without using 3d models.

i poked away at other aspects of the game as well such as weapons,now the weapons are in 4 classes

single handed
2 handed(sword/wand)
2 handed (staff/spear) 
shooting(crossbow/handgun)

this means 4 additional stands walks must be made  --;

also,there was something i had read about mk4 fans felt that the weapons 4 some chars didnt connect well with there personality's well,so im considering changing that(ie raidens hammer swapped 4 staff?)

any suggestion would be helpfull,since i stopt playing mk games after 4...

May I come with a suggestion?

Why not make it compatible for typical fighter characters...

by that, I mean that the damage that the MK characters does is not the rediculously high damage associated with most MK characters in MUGEN, but rather in par with the other Mugen characters, like thoce from Street Fighter or KOF...

Just a suggestion...

well i will think about that but not at this time my primary concern is getting everythnig in the engine working together,then maybe i will deal with that,but keep in mind im not making other mugen games im making mk4

i have there full sheets of basic moves ready,just working on other details(ie rock,breakers,weapons,finshers)

I thik they look pretty good, I would move the one on Sub-Zero (Our eft) one pixel towards the other one and then erase about 1-2 pixels where it was to get his head shape. Other than that, its looking great so far.

Hello folks,its me Tha Realest



I apologize to the people who have been watching this project 4 not updating this page,this project is NOT dead and in fact,many things have changed since my last postings,..dont wry i didnt ruin anything,its still mk4 in 2d,but now its on the 1.0 engine,to take full advantage of mugen capabilities

as it sits im currently get the final details on the beta mapped out,ill post some new screens and video of at least 2 chars working in the new engine, it play almost to its counter part with obvious difference(2d vs 3d)
a ton of animation an time has been put into this so i really hope to bring that true mk experience and deliver to the fans what mk4 should have been

Thanks once again to all who supported this from the start,and to all the nay sayers,copycat,thieves,frauds,liers an crybabys(who will remain nameless at this time,but in your hearts you know dam well who you are),take a good long look cuz this is something you will NEVER DO!!


ideas of this project,have been ripped stolen copied and ruined but its still wont stop us we are relentless in delivering something thats been lost for over 14 years,this is 4 the fans who felt cheated by mk3 an so on.I keept my word up to this point an will continue to do so,cuz at the mk4 project,we keeps it REAL up in this.


whats funny is this video hasnt even shown half the animation that the chars do,there is still some fixes yet to do,but we felt it was time to show you guys what been going on,more to come folks stay tuned!!

Great looking project man.. I can tell you're very passionate about making this as good as can be.

if this is running on Mugen 1.0's engine will you release the chars separately one day like ProjectX did? Just wondering because MK is like the only 2D fighting franchise where most of the chars are buggy for Mugen.
