Aside from the 2D levels this still looks like Deadly Alliance

the fast gameplay in the video looked nothing like Mk deadly alliance, Deception or Armageddon.

Uh, Stryker would be cool. I know he sucks because he dosen't fit in the MK universe, but really, that's what made him different from the rest.

I wouldn't mind seeing MK4 characters, like Quan Chi and Reiko, and maybe even Fujin.

Johnny Cage's new look dosen't disturb me a bit. He is known to be a sort of comic relief character, and has a big ego. The new look probably reflects said ego.

I agre this could be a reboot, as Raiden is no longer the Dark Raiden that was in Decepction and Armageddon. And it's cool to see Reptile dressed as a ninja again.

Dude, did Johnny Cage just rip off someone's face with only his fists? That is messed up.

Also, good to se the classic stages return, and Johnny Cage geting sent down The Pit? Pure awsome!

WB Games is gonna have a flawless victory with this. They're trying a lot harder to get the MK franchise back to its former glory, and with this trailer, they're doing a good job so far

That's a feature of the inside combo feature.
Basically it shows the impact of the moves and how it effects the bones inside.
So moar like Johnny's messing up someone's skull.

Yeah. never cared for this series. Have to say though, this trailer and the return to basics ala SFIV has me intrigued.
