Here's a little something for all of you at the guild. These are my very first stages that I constructed. They are in their testing or beta stages. Now that the year 2010 has hit, I'm taking a risk here to share with all of you before I head back to junior yr in college. I gave credit to all the great mugen creators who may notice a thing or two in them. I dedicate this to all the mugen lovers out there, and the late, great Martin Luther King Jr.   Edit: Thanks to Hankventure for the fire sprites.

Moshpit Arena
Started as a Matrimelee stage but totally rebuilt into a hi-res believable concert. Redid most of the sprites.
Animation: Crowd, Titatron, Band, and so on.
Superjump: Minimum

Throne of Bayonetta
This was a quick stage I made for the release of the game.
Animation: Bayonetta and flames yes
Superjump: Definetly

Dojo of the Shadows
A Ninja Stage I constructed for Shin Kazuma.
Animation: Character Sprites, Rain
Superjump: Yes

  • FTW!!!
Looks nice, I think it would be sweet if someone could rip the sound where you get introduced to a new monster.

You credited MOTVN, Teros and Dissidia for the fire but it's actually from HankVenture.

Awesome stages...
But I think that the bayonetta stage will be better without Bayonetta...  :sugoi:

(Bayonetta animation looks weird, it seem like she is having some kind of leg paralisis attack  :-\)

Dang it you need the Bayonetta version of "Fly Me To the Moon" with the stage.

Parts of the stages are good, but other parts are ugly.  Like for example in the second stage Bayonetta is really badly ripped, and in the third one the character sprites ruin it.  The first one is pretty solid though.

Dojo of the Shadows :

- Deltas are completely wrong. You need to use delta=2,2 for the floor, otherwise the chars slide like crazy (even the BG nijas are sliding).
- Rain and ground need to have different deltas to give more depth.
- The whole image seems to suffer from colorloss. ImageSplitter or RGB method should do the trick, as there aren't many deltas.
- The borders of the stage are not good. Boundleft and boundright are set too high. You don't see it because you set the tile of the BG sprite to 1,0, which is unnecessary (it should be at 0,0).
- Ninjas need lighter shadows in order to blend better with the background.
- Players are too low on the stage. Change the zoffset please.

Throne of Bayonetta :
- Deltas are completely wrong. You need to use delta=2,2 for the floor, otherwise the chars slide like crazy.
- Players are too low on the stage. Change the zoffset please.
- The whole image seems to suffer from colorloss.
- Bayonetta doesn't blend well with the stage. Too much color contrast. You have to modify her palette so that she gets some redish tones coming the the stage.
- You didn't take the whole flame animation, did you ? Because the animation doesn't loop correctly.

Mosh Pit Arena :
- The most interesting stage, with nice anims in the background.
- Deltas for the floor are wrong once again, but it's not so easy to see, since the floor is all gray.
- Fighters seem very far from the scene, mainly because of this huge panel/board. Dunno how you could modify that though.

Not bad at all for your first stages, even though there are still many many things to fix.
If you haven't read it yet, I'd suggest you to read my tutorial : http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=104470.0
No need to follow it, but read the explanation on the parameters and all, because the delta and tile problems are mentioned are explained.

Good luck, if you decide to update them. ;)
