wuooah! this is maybe the most unexpected thing I have seen in a long time, I'm gonna donwload some right now
And here I thought I could list MOTVN's stages in my semi private list. Anyway, nice releases, as I have DLed all of them 2 days ago and tested them.
WOOOOOOOOT!!!these beautiful stages, finally!! it even makes me wanna cry, MOTVN is why mugen is awesome, keep rockin!!
Mr. MOTVN I'am at lost for words can't EVEN define how INCREDIBLE YOU'RE!!! P.s Oh... and ALL HAIL MOTVN MOTVN WORK OF ART WILL BE REMEMBERED TROUGHOUT THE AGES TOO COME!
These stages are always sexy beyond comprehension. Not to mention all the drama that comes before many of them lol, so much epic win.Congrats MOTVN and to all the team that makes them possible... and gee, too bad he still couldn't post them himself...
Wow, holy shit...this is one hell of a surprise.I didn't think these stages would ever see the light of day. :OThey all look really good. Gonna have to dig into these later...
Looking great as usual, congrats on those.☠Guardian Angel★☃ said, March 10, 2010, 05:57:41 amCongrats MOTVN and to all the team that makes them possible... and gee, too bad he still couldn't post them himself...Got complaints? Direct them to the appropriate place and dont post off topic here.Thank you.
@ Someone who can explain: I don't understand, have more stuff been added to the already existing stages (assuming no bugs had to be corrected, it's MOTVN, after all) ?? Have the motifs on the train in TK3 NYC been completely changed (which would mean that the previous version's still worth keeping) ?? I'm really lost here... [sinking in my own ignorance] @ Master Yoda: There's a 'Time Kraken' stage, check below 'Thud Rumble'.
Depending on the stage, many stuff has been changed and/or added.Basically, the overall quality of each stage is better, since MOTVN has optimized each stage to ensure best framerate, he added wagon's and graffiti to stages which could get more (TK stages), he made the animations and timings smoother, etc.Even if the difference isn't always noticeable at first, all the stages were modified to be better than before.
Cybaster said, March 10, 2010, 04:37:47 pm... he added wagon's and graffiti to stages which could get more (TK stages), he made the animations and timings smoother, etc. That's it, you answered the question ; he ADDED a few more wagons (including new stuff, then) and kept those who were made so far. The former version of TK doesn't have anything original than the new version does have.Cybaster said, March 10, 2010, 04:37:47 pmEven if the difference isn't always noticeable at first, all the stages were modified to be better than before. That's the difference between you veterans who've got the knowledge to understand the mechanics used for a creation and newbies (I am) who suppose, that if the stage's good-looking it must be fine (whereas it may NOT be).I'll check this out now. Thank you very much, Cybaster for the explaination. @ MOTVN & Disciples (lol): Thanks for sharing all this hard work.
Master Yoda said, March 10, 2010, 01:09:23 pmi'm still waiting for a "time kraken stage"! Blacksaiyen said, March 10, 2010, 04:34:09 pm@ Master Yoda: There's a 'Time Kraken' stage, check below 'Thud Rumble'.Time Kraken is going to be updated for sure. I have done some preliminary BGCtrl work on it for now, but I haven't had time to finish up the rest because I'm in the process buying a house and moving. So keep an eye out.
QuoteThe Cybaster of stage feedback.LOL Getting a new house ?! Now that's great. Good luck with everything, and don't exhaust yourself.
@ Tamez: You might be able to help for these 2 questions, since you're part of MOTV's team :-> What's the bgm used in the updated 'Crash Site' stage ?? I've been listening to it for a while now, and it'd be really nice to be told which game/anime/whatever it comes from. -> Why have the length of the bgm been modified ?? They were long enough in the previous releases (= not repetitive), what was the problem ?? Now those which are reused are shorter. Thanks in advance.
☆Dissidia☆ said, March 10, 2010, 01:24:43 amI have one stage no one else has. You made it yourself, didn't you....

Now those which are reused are shorter.I'm not entirely sure, but IIRC, the music was cut at specific places so that it loops correctly, allowing it to play in Mugen as long as you want.

And the rank still the same...(that's my opinion, if anyone dont agree, dont come boring me about that )Best Stage Maker Out There : MOTVNSecond and Third : ExShadow/FlameKyo (don't know who exactly who's the second, and who's the third XD) always loved your stages MOTVN , keep it up !!!! o///
I knew Motvn was up to something, been behind the scenes for a while. The launch tunnel has a record size 95mb unextracted. Now that's commitment.
Im happy you guys are enjoying the stages, the effort it takes to make them is epic, but that all part of our stage making work ethic,I learned a lot from working with mot, with a spice of cybaster feedback lol, anyways enjoy the work fellas

Now that's commitment. the reason why it's so big cuz of me it was first tunnel stage. the version you see here is the clean up version that mot was doing for me. i have to say it's a good clean up. also listen to the audio of the stage it says something cool lol
Valerie said, March 12, 2010, 12:59:48 pmIs it normal to have this many stages? I have 4 now. How many is too many?4000

Thank you. I may or not look better than MOTVN, but I'm sure I've got nicer legs.I've also got his stages spread out over 3 computers and 2 external drives and this IS the day I think about getting them organized.
Downloaded them all a couple of days ago but forgot to post a comment. All I can say is "AWESOME!" It's great to finally see that those stages are released. Thanks a lot for announcing. I better back them up or someone will ruin it for everyone, making them not public again.
Haven't DLed them all, but the ones I did are very well done. Especially Polar Metropolis.Polar Metropolis has a small bug when using MUGEN RC though. (Yes, I know it was made for WinMUGEN specifically, but it's so easy to fix, I figured I'd mention it.) All you have to do is change "tilespacing = 500" to "tilespacing = 500, 500" and it works perfectly.

Oh, what a package this is, even though I got the majority of the stages. Still an awesome release and a surprise to see.
now that motvn has did some good updates to my Launch tunnel stage runs very good so everyone should thank him for it.
Vans said, March 30, 2010, 01:03:22 amI believe this topic isn't the best place to discuss things in this manner. Considering that William isn't getting a permaban for leaking stuff?
I don't know if this was mentioned earlier at some point but there's something wrong with the Sky Track stage. When I played the stage, I noticed there were some frames missing from the animation. The characters were leaving after-images.So I set debugbg = 1 to be sure I wasn't just seeing things and saw three flashes of purple. So finally, I opened the SFF file and saw that FOUR of the images (43, 61, 174 and 175) were jumbled messes of color. I redownloaded the whole file and checked again to be sure and yeah, the same four images are messed up.In the def file, I just commented those images out and the animation looks fine now.
So...it looks like everybody can check out Motvn's WIP stuff at the bottom of the list now....I never thought I'd see the day when I'd say this, but...Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
sorry, link download stage can not be used. Can upload to another site? like eSnips or 4shared .. ???Coincidentally, I again take the stage to make a Mugen game ..

Hey guys, I'm gonna make a new Mugen Game, taking characters by Warusaki3, stages by MOTVN, and screenpack by Ziltama. I'm gonna call itCVS Coruscation - MOTVNaka Capcom VS SNK Coruscation - Mark of the Vulnerable N00bs
oh no, not every person will have to share, including this stage? But I just knew that if there are people who make the stage only to personal or just for certain people.
sorry but that's it.. you'll have to ask permission to use EVERYTHING including, chars, stages, and Screenpack, or else its just another compilation, and compilations, if you're not releasing in a lammer forum, are not welcome.....
let me be the first to say it........this guy is one of the best stage makers i have ever seen, its like he was born to make these...stand back capcom,a new fighter has entered the game....go MOTVN...ok but for real..he is a great guy, last year he sent me HIS personal mugen game to try out...how many of those guys do that!!!!...the best in the world in my book.
Saint91Lilith said, May 03, 2010, 05:13:08 amGood stage...Unfortunately, because the hi-res stage, it's seem can only be run on hi-res Mugen...It's called Winmugen Plus.

Can I lock this topic so people wouldn't whine about MOTVN's creations going offline? It's getting old.
