on contrary Kick-ass's story is closed, true there is a new villain, but the story of this nobody being super hero itself is finish by the end of the movie. and the similar idea will feel very old and campy the second time it is usedI also think Matrix was not designed to be a trilogy, because the first movie already has a good ending.

the warriors, mostly because there's a lot of gangs i'd like to see in action that weren't really doing anything in the actual moviei understand there's like 2000 gangs in the movie's story but i wanted to see the pimp gang fight damn it
no there was just a weird resurgence in popularity in the early mid 00s like with a few other 80s movies (scarface etc) they did make a video game tho and a special edition dvd or some shit which is probably what youre referring to
