Those hitsparks came with the screenpack (Last Line) that's being used in the screenshot. I never include custom sparks with my characters.

-Tyrant Mutilation (Level 3) - F,DF,D,DB,B,S
-He grabs his opponent like he does with the Tyrant Pressure, but instead of slamming them to the ground, he sprouts a claw on his free arm and drives it straight through his opponent's torso. Then he retracts the claw and throws them away.
My inner RE fanboy is complaining that Mr. X can't do that because he only grows claws if he loses his limiter coat.

I told him to shut the hell up.

-I also want to give him a special KO state. Whenever he's KO'd by a move that doesn't knock him down, he'll wobble a bit and then fall to his knees, and then on his face, just like in RE2.
That sounds awesome. :D

Yeah, I know he can't do the claw thing, but everyone seems to want me to incorporate that form somehow into his gameplay. I don't see how to do it without doing something like this, honestly. I mean, I could give him a super where he turns into that form, but it wouldn't make sense for him to go back. I want to just make him a power/heavy-hitter type of guy and not bother with the transformation at all, but I feel like people will be disappointed. Maybe a win pose, instead?

Maybe once Nemesis' UMVC3 gameplay is revealed, Capcom won't incorporate his final form into his gameplay anywhere and I can use that example as precedent.

As someone in your position you have to dissapoint people, or you wont be happy with your work Sean. But what do I know?  --;

Good point. I think I'm just going to do his transformation as a win pose then. I just don't see a way to logically incorporate it into gameplay.

Here's an animation I just finished: Curb Stomp!

Awesome my friend, would be cool to see a intro with him smashing into the ground while inside his capsule. Like from the game, just a idea for thought.

He has an intro where the capsule drops down, hits the ground, there's a pause, then punches out of it. I made it a couple days ago.

I'll have a preview vid up sometime today or tomorrow. He's pretty much done, just needs one more winpose, one more intro, and beta testing.

I wish I could test for you but, that's not my filled. Only tested some stages for friends and my handle is screen packs. I'm a fan of your works and solid snake was my all-time favorite. Good luck bro!

Out of curiousity, how does one become eligible for beta testing??
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

Oh no! I was just trying to say that transforming wouldn't make sense plot-wise, but I forgot to add that this is a fighting game and the subtle nuances of Tyrant transforming aren't important!

Of course it's your decision to make either way, so if you feel like not having him transform except in winposes would be better then it's all good.

  • You ugly! We fix!
DAAAAAAAAMN!

He looks suh-weet! Love your work, dude. I can't find anything bad to say about this WIP. I like the way he plays, and I'm sure feels. Big, bad-ass, slower but powerful. What a great big guy character for your project. The moves where he grabs his victim b the head before leaping into the air, crushing their skull into the pavement is VERY nice. Uppercut, flying into the air, grab, head-slam is also VERY nice.

What is left to do?
These palettes better make me cum rainbows when I see them.

1 intro, 2 win poses, get up from lie down animation (I know, silly animation to put off doing, I don't know why I haven't done it yet), and beta testing.
