Mugen 1.0 Localcoord question!

I've just starting messing around with 1.0 and seeing how everything will transfer. So far, my screenpack seems to be working great. Just gotta resize a few things here and there. But with that said, changing the Localcoord settings also affects my Lifebars. I have a 640x480 Localcoord setting, but when I do the sprites for me lifebars become tiny whilst the fonts are fine.

I'm wondering, is there a similar way to adjust the size of my old lifebars separately without it directly influencing my Screenpack? If I could still use a separate Localcoord for my lifebars, that would be grand. Please let me know.

You can't really, your lifebar's localcoord has to match the screenpack's localcoord.
If you have a lo-res screenpack, you need some 320x240 bars.
Hi-res screenpacks for Mugen 1.0 require a 640x480 lifebar.
And HD screenpacks require some 1280x720 bars.

So if you have a 640x480 screenpack, then your 320x240 lifebars will become small and you have to manually edit them in the fight.def

Oh okay. Yeah I figured that might be the case.

I'm running 1.0 at 640x480 at the moment. I have no problem editing my Screenpack, but I really don't want to have to resize my whole fight.sff sprites. But if you can still scale them manually in the fight.def, I have no probs with that. I'll check it out.

Yeah if you want to upscale them using the fight.def just look for the "scale" thing, however it can be time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. If you want, try asking Seph http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=134499.40 to convert them if you want, he takes requests for lifebars.

Yeah I could've used his help right now.

For the most part, the scaling is working for some of the sprites. Other are set under [begin action] though. Are those scalable too?

They should be, just depends what part of the lifebar they are. p1.bg0.scale, p1.mid.scale, p1.front.scale for example, everything is pretty much determined by the scale. Hmm I'll try asking Seph when he gets on if he's willing to help.

I just sent him a PM. I can realign the sprites and scale them no problem, but my main issues involves the begin action animations. I just hope I won't have to resize all of the sprites one by one in photoshop.
