Mugen 1.0 sound issues?

I know 1.0 has been known for its sound issues, but I'm curious to know if there's a fix for it yet. Converting to 1.0 has been surprisingly pleasant so far, but certain sounds cutting out and stuff are getting to me.

Is there a fix? if not, is it possible to go back to the old WinMugen plugins assuming that can be done? lemme know. Thanks!

By any chance, do moves with a lot of hits have issues with some of the sounds not playing? Is that what you mean by cut out?

I've been having that problem on mine if that's what you meant.

Thanks. That's helped quite a bit, but now I'm noticing some delayed sounds (happens randomly) as well. I concluded that it might have to do with the Bit Depth and Sample Rate, but I don't know what works best. And why doesn't the "freqmul" trigger under "playsnd" state work anymore?

By any chance, do moves with a lot of hits have issues with some of the sounds not playing? Is that what you mean by cut out?

Yeah that. Upping the wavchannels like 2OS posted works.

1.0 Disadvantages said:
-The sound engine is inferior to WinMugen in terms of capability because it's being rebuilt entirely ( It's already more stable than WinMugens tho ).
-Related to this: The FreqMul ( Speed and Pitch changer ) parameter of PlaySnd does absolutely nothing.
-Also related: Though Volume was replaced by VolumeScale and it is in effect, the effects of Volume on WinMugen are greater and better there than VolumeScale on 1.0.

be patient for 1.1 RC's ( nothings changed in the beta's ) basically. or hold on to winmugen until these are false, that's what i and a lot of others are doing.

FML. Back to WinMugen? Nien. I've already gone too far Lol. I'll just deal with it for now. For the most part, the sounds aren't cutting out anymore which was my biggest peeve, so I'm straight.

Thanks for your help!
