well i just made a beta mugen game but the characters i used for the game had one thing in common besides the fact i know which game they game came from and that was that all the data was in a compressed folder which you could extract the data then use the regular folder and use the steps to upload them to your game. Yet there is another way I never used before and thats the .rar file which i've been trying to figure out how does that work but havent had any success and im a rookie at this so can someone tell what im supposed to do.r

I've read what you posted several times and its still not making that much sense to me. Could be I need to get some sleep.

Are you saying that you've downloaded characters and they are usually zipped (end in .zip), but some of them are in a rar archive?  ???

Do you mean you want to know how to open a .rar? if so use either 7-zip or winrar. (Google is your friend)

.rar is just another form of zipping.  Download winrar and you can extract .rar file just like zip files.
