Mugen Blood Mod?

I'm just wondering, this might fit my style in Mugen. I was thinking there might a mod for the game which adds blood or if someone is making it as we speak. If this is the wrong place to do this type of thread in, please do correct me.

Download Doorhenge's Mortal Kombat 2 screenpack and put the fightfx into your Mugen. Bam, bloody hitsparks.

That's odd, I replaced the normal fightfx.sff/.air with the Mortal Kombat II fightfx.sff/.air, but still, no blood. Is there any command line stuff I need to do?

Ok, so the blood does come out sometimes, but not always.

Unfortunately, you'll only be able to see the blood sparks if the character uses the default hitsparks.
If they use their own custom hitsparks, then you won't be able to see them. $:-\$
