I've found this to be the case, Mugen crashes when certain chars unload, but there's no alert from Mugen telling me why/what happened and the last line in mugenw.log is always

[mcode]Unloading system background data...sprite data...OK[/mcode]

mugenexus's Master Ken (from http://mugenexus.mgbr.net/Paginas/Chars1.html ) is one char which does this. This char works fine, until I select a new char, which unloads it, THEN Mugen crashes.

Another char which did this was Yuki2, although I just deleted that one.

I'm using Winmugen_Fixed.exe and EVE battle. It's not because of a stage fault, I've checked that out.

Easy solution: remove that crappy character from your Mugen roster.

Hard solution: DOS2Win is good enough for him, try it.

What the hell is "Winmugen_Fixed.exe"? Get the latest Winmugen from the "official" site:

Oh yeah, already deleted it, but I wondered if anyone else was having the problem and what I could do about it. I think I got a couple of other chars that do this, haven't found which ones yet though.

Without Winmugen_Fixed.exe, loads of stages cause my Mugen to crash. I was told about it here: http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=81704 I like stages, I've got 550.
