Mugen shuts down when I start it?

Whenever I play it or try to it keeps failing. What did I do?

Initializing select screen...finding characters...

It stops when its looking for characters

Also I don't know if this helps but I'm running it off windows Vista?

Will  switching to high res mugen help?

has it been always like that, or just recently, if it is just recently then you might install something that is corrupted, like certain character with missing files etc.

It's been like this when I play it on Vista. It works sometimes not a lot. It plays fine on Xp but that computer's on its last legs and constantly deletes stuff.

I would think Vista has problems like this.

Use XP for your needs.

*hope Elecbyte would make the MUGEN 1.1 compatible with Windows Vista and 7*
