There is also a rather interesting development of an open source engine clone named IKEMEN.

By SUEHIRO1000 and Kung Fu Man. Kung Fu Man is messing around with IKEMEN just so he can add a lot
of features that MUGEN 1.0 does, but I'm looking forward to that.

Kung Fu Man, Ironmugen.. those names I know. They have went separate ways? I still have countless of their old garbage like Flynn Taggart. Good times. In all the communities i've overviewed, mugen was the least I've thought that could have drama into it. I mean, what else is there except criticism over badly coded dragonball Z characters.

To which we responded by sending Byakko to duel him in the streets of Paris.

I will try to explain in a nutshell:

Mentally handicapped Frenchman changes a single character in Mugen's readme, slaps his name on it, sets up a 'company', and procedes to sell his product to the masses.

When confronted, he reveals that he is actually a genius, versace wearing, lawyer, ninja who has been to the top business school in France. The situation heats up between lawyer ninja and Byakko and the two fight each other irl outside of an arcade.

Hijinks continue over the course of a year. Cybaster does funny things.
At some point our businessman got his lawyers to sue the MFG site for....some reason that of course had no legal merit.

Businessman procedes to spit in Elecbyte's face, Elecbyte tries to keep things civil, businessman refuses, Elecbyte takes legal action.

With his precious company in shambles, businessman decides he no longer has the will to live.

He sued us for talking shit about his company and because we had threads where people released things that had the same base images as the things he "did" ( and were coded better) , so we were stealing his copyrights of doing those things for mugen. ( basically cybaster and others grabbed the source images of a couple stages he did, and recoded them to actually work , the images had not been drawn by the frenchguy nor where they his property, they were just random 3d wallpapers from the internet. His reasoning was that he was the first to do it so it was legally his.)

I wasnt around, but it sounds pretty stupid. Actually... wasnt it an old western looking stage? I think I might have been around for the end of it and missed it maybe?
