A lot of what I'm seeing listed makes this thread yet another "my favorite characters" list.

I'd say MUGEN's biggest icons are Kung Fu Man and Dragon Claw.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

That's part of why I mentioned the EVE screenpack, actually. I don't care for it, but have seen it a lot.

The default winmugen screenpack is more iconic.

A true mugen icon would be a shitty youtube video from the mid-late 00's with poor framerate, eve lifebars, stage 0 and Homer vs Omega Tiger Woods. You know, the kind of shit that gets people into mugen.

Or "Everyone Hate [insert character here]" videos, because what got me into M.U.G.E.N was such a video where Kyubey was getting thrashed.

Am I having a déjà-vu? Wasn't a topic like this already made on the past? With the "iconic" part?
