New Muse album will be out September 17th. They released a trailer now giving a short preview, and it seems to have some influences of......dubstep I gotta say it sounds pretty good. I don't want the entire album to be dubstep, because that would mean we'd be missing out on some more classic Muse stuff, but I don't mind a song or two in this style. Yeah, one year ago they said their new album would be influenced by Asian music (classical Chinese music, not J-Pop). I guess they changed their mind.Hoping to hear more of them in the next few weeks. Not a big fan of dubstep, but a song or two with some influences seem fine.Their last album clearly had this thing where they took influences from other genres and artists (Britney Spears, Queen). But still, I'd really like if they'd do more songs closer to their original style. From the last album, only MK Ultra was close to their pre-BH&R music...
I'm interested but to be honest I'd rather have them do another album like Origin of Symmetry or Absolution. Not a really big fan of this pop thing they did in Resistance and BH&R.Well, I guess I'll have to wait till September 17th and see.
dubstep is atrocious. i hope it's only one or two dubstep tracks. ideally zero. fuck i hate dubstep. e3 made me hate dubstep even more. god damnit
It sounds a lot like queen. Which I'm good with, because queen is definitely in my top 3 greatest bands ever.
