Music playing too fast

Alright I have been tinkering around with the new Mugen RC6 version and it hasn't given me any major problems yet.  Works great, but it seems to have a problem with some music I have been trying to put into it.

All my songs are MP3 files and run just fine in Windows Media Player, and most run fine in Mugen.

The problem comes to when I add music to the title or even to a stage.  Some of the music plays too fast.
I was running a remixed version of  Kirby's battle song from Smash Bros Brawl and Mugen sped up the song to twice it's normal speed and it sounds pretty awful.

Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?  The other songs work fine but this one and a few others just don't.  Could it be a problem with the music file itself?

I got the same problem too  :-\
The wierd thing is, when I convert some Snes music files to mp3 and play them in mugen they don't play too fast. But, when I download them they just don't work.

EDIT: I found a way to fix that. Download a wav to mp3 converter. Now, convert your orignal mp3 to an mp3. I know it sounds stupid but when you play the stage the music will play fine
Kinda strange but I woke up today and her hand was on my ass cheek
I won't suspect anything though I'll take it she was sleeping and didn't notice
you should have flipped over slowly

Wow that was great.  So I guess there is something wrong with some music files that play too fast.  The music plays fine now.  Thanks for the help. ;D

It's a plugin problem.

This occurs when your sound file is mono type.

Convert it to stereo type to fix it.
