the old mugen i was working on (low-res) had a full working soundtrack that i created. mostly instrumental beats of songs from my CD. but still... it was all there.

ever since the new mugen came out, all of my music has stopped working. still works on the old, fails on the new.

i asked this question a while ago.. to which i got the response

"you need to get the mp3 codec."

i tried to get one, ended up getting a pretty nasty virus.

does anyone have any specific suggestions as to what to get? and did anyone else come across this issue upgrading to the new mugen?

1) get the ogg_vorbis plug in

2) convert all your music to ogg (u can use audacity which is free)

3) SHAZAM! ogg is much better than mp3 when we talk about mugen

note: maybe the plug ins arent configurated on the new mugen (in the mugen.cfg file), anyway, if you're going to use ogg remember to config the .cfg file too.
pls

the pluggins function, in the recent mugen, is (kind of) a new feature...this version handles better the .ogg format than the mp3s (even though some people can make the mp3s to work...)
