Not good enough!

Well, I just put a "It's really bad." in the end, but you can see there are a lot of things that are really wrong in my feedback. Though a video is sometimes better than thousand words :P

I see no fixes. This char is buggy as all hell and no effort shows whatsoever.

Words cannot describe how horrible this Sonic is.
*Reads description of that vid* plz dont make it like i made this entire character
all i fcking did was remove small glitches and added a new hyper Hence the topic title "BUGFIXES/SMALL EDITS" >_>

Could you tell us what you fixed, at least? Normally people puts a readme saying all the fixes they've made, so then people who does a feedback of it knows the things that were there before and the things that you added.

And personally, even if you did something, the character is still really bad. Personally, if you would get rid of all the bad things it has, I would call that an edit. A good one. But if you only do few things, we're just going to "really really bad character" to "really bad character". And this is not good.

Esnips?! This is the last time I download a character from esnips, but next time someone puts a link to esnips to download the char, I will report it for trying to make people catch a virus on their computer. Prepare your lawsuit for that

---

Feedback:

- Intro pose...
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
--;

- Her dash is way too fast and I can't control where I want to stop. Really, reduce the speed and allow me to stop dashing at a certain point. Oh, and remove that invincibility frames (or rather, add CLSN in this dash).

- Backdash:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
I don't think that CLSN is normal. The same happens when Sonic is hit.

- While he walks really fast (and let's not comment about the dash), your jumping speed is really slow (it takes a lot of time for him to jump). Find a middle point of speed, please.

- Infinite priority in all attacks. Though it doesn't really matter that much, seeing how little are the red CLSN.

- When you knock Sonic to the floor, a sprite from KFM appears. The same when he's dizzy or when he grabs someone.

- Completely misaligned sprites when Sonic is hit on the air.

- It's impossible to do the common combo of using a normal attack to launch the opponent to the air followed by a superjump, since the speed of the superjump is so slow that the opponent has already recovered in the air. And yeah, that happnes with any kind of character, not only with characters that have air recovery,

- No pushback for any normal attack except "z", which pushes the opponent really far away from you.

- Complete invincibility frames (aka no CLSN at all) for "c" and "z" crouch normal attack.

- Okay, "x" and "y" normal attacks, the CLSN seems to follow KFM proportions. And in the worst way possible. Not gonna bother with pics, it's really bad.

- The special "F,B,a" does 300 damage! Wow, that's way too much! Also, no blue CLSN in that move (aka complete invincibility frames).

- All SonicEagle specials (B,F,a/b/c) miss blockstun.

- Seems that you can follow "F,D,DF,a/b/c" with another move, but I don't know. Reasons below, with an angry face.

- Go and look how to do a Shoryuken with POTS Ryu. The "z" version is just plain stupid. This is not how you do a Shoryuken, seriously. And I think there's an infinite in the "y" version, since I can even use it in the air without any kind of cooldown at all.

- Reduce the speed for the TrusthKick attack. It's impossible to predict because of its abnormal speed.

- RisingTackle "c" version does nearly 500 damage :-\

- KFDPower super is amazing. Before using it Rising Tackle does 500 damage. Now it's nearly a 1 Hit-Ko! Yay!

- SonicAirkinesis is also amazing. A projectile of 1000 power that does 600 damage. Also, the damage is not instantaneous, but it hits you a lot of times before you lose all that health, and while that happens, you can just move and continue hitting your opponent. Really amazing.........

- SmashKFUpper... forget it, I don't want to say anything about it. I quit.

- No readme, which helps to do feedback >:(

Again, why is there a MvC2 near the name of the character when it doesn't play at all like MvC2? Why? Also, it's really bad.
almost all of that was from the original character i fixed most of that
i removed the KFDPower hyper and changed it with something somewhat similar to ken's shroyureppa

READ THE FIRST POST OR ARE YOU LIKE THOSE DUMBASSES THAT DONT READ THE DESCRIPTION ON YOUTUBE VIDEOS
but im just gonna put what i fixed right in this post because i know none of you will read the first post anyway
projectiles are no longer spammable
fall through floor glitch fixed
no air shoryuken
added new hyper
fixed some collisions
lowered some of the damage of some of the specials
no longer chibi sized

I will force feed Dark Pit right into your ass if we ever play on wi fi.

That's not enough to consider it release worthy.

Whatever ya fixed doesn't make this actually decent.  --;

Exactly. You really have to look at the quality of the character and ask "Should this be released? Will the public find some value to it"
You can't really be serious if you think that this is close to being worthy to release in public. I mean the first character I ever made was just like worse than this one, even before you edited it. But I sure as hell knew that I would never let it see the light of day. I made around 5 or 6 unreleased garbage characters before I released my first decent quality character, Arthas.

I know you didn't make the whole character, but this character was complete garbage to begin with, and just because you made some tweaks and made him a little bit "better" does not mean that he is "good" and he sure as hell isn't good enough for a release.

On second thought, I must apologize since I tried the esnips version. Perhaps you should mark your link with this ["url"]["/url"] so people realise there's a link there (quite hard to see with your text). That means I have to redo my feedback, just a little. But just by looking at the fixes you did and all the stuff I found in the previous version, I don't really think I will need to change a lot of the things I reported.

Things that are corrected:

- No longer invincibility frames in the forward dash. The other problems I mentioned are still there.
- Your backwards dash no longer has the CLSN of KFM. In fact, all the attacks doesn't have CLSN of KFM. Unfortunately, it's worse now. Look below.
- No longer KFM sprites in the grab.
- No longer Shoryukens in the air.
- His walking speed is normal now.
- Reduced the damage for the super that throws the air projectile.
- RisingTackle damage reduced by a lot.
- No longer the KFDPower.

And now the rage part, new things your edit has caused:

- Because of your resize, or God knows what you did, all the red CLSN are now absurd. Have you even bothered resizing them so the size is normal? Seriously, all normal attacks have now infinite priority officially since the CLSN are way big. Just look at this!

Expect to see more reports about this thing.

- Your backdash now works bad. You can stop suddenly in the middle of the hop and reappear on the ground if you don't hold the button. Also, if you hold it, the sprite of the backdash stays for quite some time, even after you finished the backdash.

- Completely misaligned CLSN when he grabs the opponent. The same when he's knocked to the ground while standing (sprites also go to the sky for a moment in this last one).

- When you're hit on the air, the CLSN change their size, becoming more big. Why that happens makes no sense, but they stop covering only the character because of that.

- Aerial "y" normal attack uses the animation of crouch "y" attack. It really looks bad when you use it.

- "F,B,a" special has now a big range, because of your resizing. Also, the other problems I commented before still persist. Perhaps I could include that it's hard to block the attack since it comes way too fast.

- "B,F,a/b/c" special has now really big red CLSN, because of your resizing. All problems commented in my previous feedback still persist. Also, if I hit Sonic while he's doing that move, he suddenly stands on the air. The last thing probably existed before, but still reporting.

- "D,F,a/b/c" aerial special.... This! This is what your resizing has caused! I DON'T WANT THIS!

- Okay, while you cannot longer combo Shoryuken in the air, the red CLSN are really big. Way too big. And seriously, the "z" version is still stupid, launching you really far away in the air. Again, go look POTS Ryu to know the best way to do a Shoryuken.

- "F,DF,D,a/b/c" is unblockable at the beggining of the move. Sorta like what happened with Kohaku in some of his characters.

- Hahahahahaha!

Need I say more?

- You changed KFDPower with a move that doesn't work at all. It's a combo, or at least it's supposed to be, but I can block it in the middle of the super even if I'm hit. Damage is really low for a super. Completely useless.

- Now the SmashKFUpper super doesn't work at all. When he hits the opponent, he still stays in the animation since he hasn't finished the attack, even though the next things will miss no matter what. That doesn't happen if he hits an opponent that is blocking.

Your "edit" has made the character way worse because of the big CLSN. I wish I never realised I got the wrong version. Also, it seems you simply resized the character and you didn't even try that the sprites didn't lose quality. Which tells me you never bothered to check what your resize caused.

Clsns? i've resized chars before and never had problems with the clsns
and the effects are easy to fix

just scale them down (or up depending on which way its scaled) in the cns as well

Apparently not. See what happens when you try to resize chibis?

You limit yourself so badly when you try to avoid variables. When you get over your fear of the "complexity" of variables, you will find yourself in a better place: A beautiful world where coding is actually fun.
