I found a bug with your Zangief.In Simul mode most of his throws can't connect and if it does the opponent wont "stick" with Zangief making the throw to not do any damage.

It's probably the most rediculous mode mugen has if the chars are not using some sort of tag team function.
Simul mode screws up a lot of characters, most creators dont really worry about it.I'll download in a bit
Pretty good. Before you read, know that I only used winmugen and I used him against kfm.-His throws are pretty good except for dash grab, running powerbomb and spinning piledriver. When he grabs kfm for the dash grab or running powerbomb it looks as though he's grabbing him with barely his fingertips. The opposite is true for the spd, looks like he's grabbing past kfm's body.-When he turns around it seems very slow. If this was how he did it in MvC2, then disregard, but if your opp switches sides and you try to follow, he slides while he's turning. Looks like an ugly moonwalk.-kfm can't jump over him without running. -I still don't like his large select portrait (I know this is definitely not how it looked in MvC2).-Is MechZangief's palette supposed to be monochrome? Doesn't he have red tights/boots/wristbands/eyes?-I had to change his size in the cns to 1 so his sprites wouldn't look bad.That's it until I have time to play more. Thanks for the update.
I can tell you that as far as the mech Zangief palette goes, that's impossible for winmugen, and it's only in the 1.0 version.

That's his original aspect ration in the vs games. If it looks odd then you're not using winmugen+ or 1.0 mugen.
I know some people are picky about these things, especially if your char has the prefix MvC2. Some people would go a little bananas just because your portrait is not from MvC2. I'm not one of those people. Do what you want. It's your character. But since your goal seems to be to make an arcade-perfect Zangief, especially with regards to the grab, I felt I should point out this obvious divergence. I use winmugen plus and rc8. Even while playing I can see that some pixels are normal sized and others not. It's a distraction for me, so I changed it. Just noticed that the slam sound is missing for a grab or two. About Mech mode; I know SF3 Gill uses a totally different set of sprites just when he switches sides. Couldn't you just add the Mech sprites to his sff and have him use those when he goes into the mode? This might make his file larger, but I think it would definitely solve the palette issue.
That wouldn't work cause he would still switch back to his original sprites when getting hit or grabbed.
Then how does it work for characters like Twelve or NeoGeegus (or Shang Tsung?)? They get hit and thrown in their transformed states.
The Shang Tsungs in mugen turn back into Shang Tsung when thrown. I've never seen a Twelve that had all his morphs anyway so I can't judge on that.
