It was Lobo's avatar that was causing the problem.  Something with the site it was uploaded to.  I took it down and sent him a PM asking him to rehost it somewhere else.

You might want to organize the Smileys window a bit better, a bunch of them are overlapping and a few don't have a name. I think one of them doesn't even have a picture, but that might have been fixed since last I checked.

Is the PM notification box only supposed to pop up on the forum homepage?

You know what would be handy? In your profile, some sort of listing of all the Threads you've started,
so you have easy acces to any of them, mainly the ones that have lost populairity,
without having to browse through dozen's of pages to find it.

huh. it doesn't load the base css files, for some reason. can you do view source, and see if there is a line like this:
Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/base.css?v=1588" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/skin_default.css?v=1588" />

should be somewhere at the top, around the 8th line.

also, does this link work for you? it should, just checking.. http://mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/base.css?v=1588
Yeah, I just looked at it on campus, and it looks like those lines are there, along with a line that reads
Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/base.css?v=1588" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/skin_default.css?v=1588" />
              <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/secondary.css?v=1588" />

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/mfg/css/mfg_overrides.css" />
          <script type="text/javascript" src="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/default/scripts/min/jquery.js?v=172"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="//mugenguild.com/forum/Themes/default/scripts/script.js?v=1588"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
Hopefully this helps in some way. Otherwise I have no idea what else to do.

anything in the error console? (Console tab in Firebug)

also, is this a recent version of firefox?

Why, exactly?

to be less intrusive about it by showing it when people are not trying to view specific stuff. the notification at the top is also still there. do you think people are not visiting the front page frequently enough to see it in reasonable time?

I use the latest release at work and the latest beta at home and I don't have that (not since the https issue early on was dealt with), so I really doubt it has anything to do with Firefox itself. Everytime I see someone showing the page with no css loaded my first guess will still be that it's about the https thing, like a local network setting that the school or workplace has.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

the https version itself should be working at this point, I'm using it all the time.

This is what I see in Found Releases 1.0:

Is it normal that the avatar blocks it?

Super annoying when you're putting Enters/breaks in your text while typing,
then when you post the message, it are suddenly double Enters (empty lines) >:C

Also, when using  quote  and  spoiler  and what not, it fucks with your text make-up,
and adds shit like [size=10],resizing parts of your text, totally unwanted! That's getting a bit annoying.
And sometimes it even simply deletes part of the code, like when using the @ sign at the start of a sentence for example.

And STILL you can't preview your Reply when before posting it, it still says: " message body was left empty" ,
even if there's a big ' ole wall of text in there.
You can Preview your PM messages before posting just fine, why is it different for Replies?
I hate posting a Reply and then having to modify it a couple of times, I just want to use Preview and get it right the first time![/size]

SEE WHAT IT DID THERE ^^^? The Size code shit!

When looking through the topics in a thread, horizontally wide avatars end up covering the topic picture.  Minor, but thought I'd report it anyways.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't mean to double report this, didn't see Nanashi_1337's post above...

Hope this helps.

the 412 precondition failed thing is usually a client-side problem. and seeing as it's happening on an external domain (facdn.com, which is facebook stuff) it's not something I can fix.

maybe there's a firewall inbetween that blocks certain stuff or something? no idea, really :-\

other stuff: will look into it later

so, it's likely his network is blocking facebook ? if anything it should be a bug that should be handled ina  nicer way than breaking css loading.

What's funny is I can log into Facebook just fine on the campus network no matter what browser I use. The forum here works fine on Chrome but dies on Firefox when I'm on the campus network. So I guess it's Chrome on campus and Firefox off campus?

no it's happening on both this domain and the facebook one. for some reason it just failes with a couple of files...

Hm. Did you try the https version of the site? -> https://mugenguild.com/forum
