Hello all. I was wondering if you guys could lend a hand through advice or something.

I have a 32gig flash drive filled with quite a bit of Mugen data. I'm using it as more of an archiving method for my personal Mugen. Before all of this happened, I backed up all of my data from my 16gig before porting everything over to this larger one.

Last week, I was saving a text file and suddenly the drive became corrupted. The odd thing is, you can view everything that is on it, but you cannot access anything. Once you do attempt access, my system slows down with the result of the drive appearing as a blank FAT32 drive. Once you eject and place it back in, the cycle starts again.

I have a feeling my data is safe, I just need to access it. We're talking three years of data archiving through a lot of passion for this program. If worse comes to worse, two months of articulate archiving will be lost. I don't want to lose a damn thing. Any help/advice??

Someone posted to use a program called diskdigger. Should I??

Corrupt Drives?

Well, hopefully you got a backup somewhere, because I think the only way to fix the drive is to format it, which would erase all data.

there is a few probles who can be:
operative system without antivirus
ram memory shit
flash drive is out of date

Flash drives aren't meant to be permanent storage devices, if anything it's your fault for not backing up your files properly.

Have you tried plugging it on another computer? You never know...
I have an external hard drive that doesn't have a name on the laptop i'm using but it does on others.

Actually, I ran diskdigger and it scanned everything just fine. I'm gonna back everything up tonight.

buy some good flash drive with good memory speed and with gb what you like. :)
