look at this first.

Lilith does a super. the music skips. She does a couple other supers. The music is fine again.

This doesnt only happen when Rajaalilith and his other characters do supers. Anything that stops the music such as when GMs 3rd strike characters K.O. with a super. Or even when selecting grooves in the beginning of a match also make the music skip. Is this cause by plugins? If not then what the heck is it?

I can't really tell from the video, but it sounds to me like you're having a very typical problem with mp3 files.

On some computers, mp3s tend to skip after characters use the Nomusic flag.... and the longer the flag is used, (like during a fatality, or in some character's intros) the higher the chance of the mp3 skipping or even crashing mugen.

What may (KEYWORD HERE: MAY) solve your problem is stop using mp3s and swtich to either .adx or .ogg files.

ogg files seem to have more reliability when it comes to looping properly and not skipping during nomusic flags.  Converting all of your mp3s to ogg files isn't hard (goldwave can do it) but it will take a long time, so try it out with a few before you make the switch.

Then there's adx files.  These guys are very reliable and loop perfectly, only thing is converting them from mp3 files can be a pain... and finding ones already made is pretty difficult.

I recently switched to .ogg files... and my sound no longer skips.  Freezing has become more rare, but still happens...so I don't have all the answers.

I had to start using ogg files because of the skipping music, and now it works fine :D
