This place is too strict for the rules and are there any chat? I tried to contact one of the memebers privately but why should I go through the verification nonsense when I already entered them in my sign up?

When users have few posts they are checked again, because of bots and spammers that would spam message people with ads.

There is no chat function.

Prevent spammers. Also this place is pretty tolerant now, it's barely strict anymore.

*palms face* no chat function? that sucks and I guess I won't be private messaging my friends. I don't think I'll find any friends here and all I just need is someone to help me with my Mugen needs because I don't bother to create my mugen fighters with fighter factory or making my own stage. :(

I would only use the site in case if I am having trouble looking something that exists or asking if something in particular exists because finding certain Mugen stages and characters can be tough to find.

There WAS an IRC channel (originally irc.irchighway.net/ #mugen later irc.sorcery.net/ #mugen ) but it basically fell into disuse and the channel seems to no longer exist.

new users that just logged in need to bypass some anti bot measures ( captchas ) before sending pms, thats what he is complaining about.

I am really sorry to say this but I am no longer interested in Mugen it's just a lot of pain to look for characters in particular that are too hard to find. I tried looking everywhere but it seems like lots of sites are dead and download links to the characters are also dead. I felt like wasting my time now for just registering this place which was no help to me and I already remove the Mugen in my computer so I am not going to waste my time going back to get it again.

I still wish to stay here for any reason but not Mugen related. I like some of the work people made like graphics and sound effects. I need resources to use for my own game making projects. :D

Upon using anyone's work from the site I will ask permission if it's ok to save one's graphics to use for my own games. I am using Multimedia Fusion 2 and I was not really happy about the contents that came with my software and always wished to have more background objects and more sound effects as well. Also I am looking for midi composers for my own games which I don't think this is the place for finding original midi stuff lol.

Yeah the other day I went on the MUGEN Discussion Board and said, and I quote:

"Hey Seanaltly, make me some Tekkaman Blade sprites, stat! You, WhizzyWhipItWonderful, remix the awesome Tekkaman Blade stage theme from Tatsunoko VS Capcom with CPS-2 instruments, pronto! Daeron, make a sprite version of the stage that WWW is getting the music from! STORM-EX, make a fitting Screenpack with lots of big-boobed anime girls in it. MelvanaInChains, complain that I'm being too mainstream and that I should be making Monkey Boy from Martial Masters instead! Jmorphman, link me to a Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast so that I have something to listen to while I sit back and watch all of you work on this!"

Nobody responded and Iced deleted my topic, that prick.
