I know I should update my earlier chars, but in the meantime...



Hello.
I always thought that Nail was a badass, and he had too little screen time in the show.
In fact he had a greater power level than other characters in Freeza's Saga.
His misfortune was that he stand against the boss of these period.
What if he stood and fight other characters? Now you can find out.

My Nail has sprites edited from Piccolo. English sounds from budokai games, attacks that he had in the show,
PS2 games and some customs(like Great Namek Stomp or Dende healing helper). He also has cinematic intro, ending and Win quotes.
Enjoy playing him.

Tomo dude I am so glad that someone has taken the time to bring more of these arcade style DBZ characters to mugen dude. I wish that you or someone else would redo a newer krillin with better sprites because the one thats out, his sprites aren't as good as they good be.

Can you please stop calling these Arcade Style? they play nothing like nothing alike Gladiacloud's and Choujin's "Arcade Style" characters.
These characters lack majority of the basic functions compared to theirs, here's a simple list.

-Wrong Effects are used, either poorly done Low quality CvS effects and some other custom stuff (IIRC, Choujin's uses some MvC effects, SNK Effects along with Edited DBZ effects)
-Dashing attacks don't function alike theirs, same as the dashing having no effects whatsoever (Doesn't look that great IMO)
-I can't bitch about sprites because that doesn't make gameplay worse but majority of your edits are really bad and just don't look nice at all.
-The fact you leave some commands that can be done with two different commands but the attack has the same outcome
-The Combination system doesn't feel close to Choujin's, I'd suggest editing your codes to play similarly or atleast ask Gladia for some help with the coding if you want to have a character that plays similar to their style.

Feedback on Nail.
-QCB+LK Misses at close range, won't hit them whatsoever.
-No Blue Hitboxes when he's charging up Mystic Flasher?
-When Mystic Flasher is done when the opponent is at the wall, Nail will teleport into the opponent and will still hit them even though they're at the back of him.
-Dive Kick can be done with QCB+LK and QCB+HK along with able to perform it with FQCF+HP.
+I like the idea that you made use that Namekian's can grow, something that Piccolo hasn't used since Dragonball.
+Bonus points for making it function similar as Jax's MK3 Stomp fatality.
-It feels rough when trying to OTG with Dash+LK, it feels more rough than Choujin and Gladia characters.
-Super Explosion Wave's effects still has a background on it.

-His Sprites still look like he's wearing clothes (Various sprites show this, mainly from the shading on his back)
-From Stand -> Taunt and Taunt -> Stand could probably use another two to three frames to actually look like he's putting his arms behind him and putting them back infront.
-To make combos and general combinations look better, you need to make more creative sprites for basic attacks (His normal LP and close HP use the same sprites) It's not that nice IMO.
-Probably some other stuff that also needs mentioning

He needs alot more work put into him, otherwise he's better than your other content.
If I can't be the best, I sure as hell can be the worst.

Fixed. You forgot one.

- Also the mode that you activate with B,D,x has no use. (Do you see that copypasting isn't really the right way? This was supposed to make Piccolo make more hits than normal.)
- Always the problem with the shared palette.
+ Nice Dende sprite.
- The ki blasts do not have a hitsound.
