It's better to ask specific help here as well as read the docs and try to pick apart ready made works.  Kung Fu Man comes with mugen and is a fully documented character so you can take a look at that too.

Just saying you need help here's my info probably won't get many replies unless you are offering to compensate people I am not sure how many will be willing to tutor you like this.
Latest Yoshi alpha ready for feedback Aug 15th check here for details...

By the sound of it. Everything.

You'll be better off learning. We all started somewhere you know.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

i really want to learn but i just need a strong start.
Best thing would be to open your basic mugen lifebars and sceenpack's CNS and SFF (respectively with notepad & Fighter Factory), and see what part of each code does, by changing values, moving axes, reading the docs, etc.
Once you get an average understanding of everything, you can start editing just the graphics for example, by replacing sprites, and see if you get at something.

Or use those mugen mortal kombat deadly alliance lifebars there floating around somewhere they helped me learn basic lifebars if i find them on my other pc ill pm them to you.

Basically he gives you the files for it and a tutorial to put it together then and how to change it for your sized lifebars etc.
