Hey i know its not good but im verry verry new and im still wearning.Besides it is still beta.

Rock as a base makes sense for Nero.  Why whine?  Who else could you use, Ralf?

Although K' could work too, but Rock is just a perfect base for Nero.

That being said, this looks less like Nero and more like Rock if he bought clothes from Vanilla Ice and could magically make swords appear out of nowhere.

There are many good bases for Nero. Hell, the best bet is to make him his own sheet from scratch if this is the deal.

About my mans: it's not about it being his first character or being new, it's inexperience. There are many new people that come here with experience as well as without. I love how yall expect people to come into the Guild with PotS and Rajaa levels of experience. It just don't work like that

Let him be and when his character comes out then yall can show him his errors, it will make him better. Or at least give him more experience.

there's alot of possobilities for bases...rock can be Richter Belmont, Dante or anybody as long as you make the sprites considerably like the actual character and not a character cosplay of that character...yes this guy is new as we all were at some point. and I agree...let him be until he gets some actual progress on this character and let's give positives regarding the character's base and not shoot him down before he begins....

try other bases man but I guess Rock can be useful...just get him lookin good

There is a very easy way for newbies to circumvent their lack of experience. If you posted your creation as a WIP instead of a finished product, you would've gotten the help and advice you needed to make your character at least half respectable.

Also, I'd have to say that Rock is the best base to use for a nero edit. At least his head is anyways.

-Palette is godawful.
-Sword attack is worse. It shares his fucking palette. See above as to why this is a problem.

Here's why:



Take note that this isn't how FX works. You need to seperate these into seperate sprites and use an explod sctrl to make the arm-thing appear without the messed up palette.

no offence but rock is getting over used .. its turning out like Cyclops used as a base for most chars lol..

good addition with the gun and what not.. but maybe try a different base.. cos with Dante out there and now ur Nero.. lol kinda ridiculous.. to me Nero looks more cocky.. just like Vergil if ya know what i mean.. so try a resized edit of yamazaki u know he has the cockiness stance..

I was going to defend this guy and his creation.. That is until I saw the creature myself.  I'm sorry but buddy this isnt even a Wip, Its simply just a mess.
