Scale+Palette edit+Retouch. This is a comparison: your Angel, original KOF Angel, and the quick edit I made. And while yours differs slightly from the original (being slightly larger and has a few edited pixels), it still has a very noticeable KOF feel to it.

QuoteScale+Palette edit+Retouch.Well, for me the "retouch" includes palette editing as long as you don't change the colors but only alter its tones. Of course, that "extra step" is upon personal criteria.I mentioned 3x 'cause the sprites have that "slim/tall" look they get when you pass them through a filter under that factor. But, now that I think about it... Angel IS sorta skinnier. Maybe she was just filtered @ 2x ???I still like her original palette better but your REAL quick edit has some nice improvements like the chrome on her jacket instead of golden, and her face._ dampir - I believe you still gotta play more with her head in general (face, hair), and the shading, maybe adding an extra tone would help improve her looks. Not as many tones as in KoF style but, as I said, maybe adding an extra one.
Err, I was kinda referring to his sprite sheet with the "Scale+PalEdit+Retouch". Mine was a scratch edit (I had a slightly palette-edited version, but I got rid of it in a moment of stupidity), and I opted not to scale on the basis that the KOF-CvS sprite difference was unnoticeable to say the least. And Angel is unusually skinny for any fighting game character.
Cool, I'm a bit late, but these look pretty nice to me. Nothing a fresh palette can't fix I suppose. I was anticipating them, and maybe I'll end up using them.
