Something tells me they're all static, and Ruins, Hueco Mundo, The Beach, and Krusty Krab are all low quality.

i personally think the beach looks pretty good. annd yeah they are all static they dont like move or anything. but its the stage creation thing. it only allows regular pics. i tried using .gif images being that some of them move and it wouldnt accept them sooo i had to use still pics. if you know of a better creation tool that accepts .gifs i'd be so happy

Why would you use gif

I'd call these Cybaster's stages if you didn't animate them as you did basically no work; the tool did it all.

I dont know how to animate stages. i just found it and got some of my own pics that i had taken my self or found rambling on the net and used the stage tool to do it. so i mean only credit cybaster gets is the fact that he made the tool which appears on the .def of each stage.

I dont know how to animate stages.

Then take a little time and learn how to.

It's nice that you have an interest in creating content for the engine, but really there's no reason to rush it.
Reading the docs and learning how the coding for stuff is done may seem like a daunting task at first, but it really is the way to go.

Also, Cybaster has a tutorial to help with stage creating, including some techniques not mentioned in the docs (like the BlackJack trick), linked at the top of this releases section.

I decided to download one stage to look at what you did here.

Well, first of all, it'd be best to change your download method.
You have the .sff and .def as separate downloads.  Rar/7zip the two files for the individual stages so people don't have to go through the mediafire process as much.
Also, for me at least, when I downloaded the .def, my system just opened it instead of asking to save.

---
Anyway, on to the stage, look at the top of it.
See that black bar on top?  That means you didn't place the sprites right, and the spot is just empty.
If a character jumps up there, it will leave a smeary afterimage where the black is.

Your image is actually big enough to cover the whole screen, so there's no reason for this situation.

Speaking of your image, it's only 640x480, so there is only one screen to fight on.
Sources really need to be wider so your fighters have room to move.

Also, that tree on the left is a problem.  As it is now, when a fighter gets backed into that corner (which will happen often due to it not being a wide enough stage), they will appear in front of the tree.  This obviously looks wrong.

The BlackJack trick I mentioned earlier can actually help you with this situation, but you'll have to do some image editing to accomplish it.

I don't think this stage in particular is worth the effort needed to do it now, but something to keep in mind if you decide to improve your skills.

Animation is not a requirement, but really in nearly all cases a source image can have something added to it to give it more life.

Take the woods again for example.  The sun in the upper right could have a lensflare/flicker added.

It's really about doing the most with what you have on hand.
Knowing more about the creation process lets you have more options available to you.

And then you can makes stages that you are really happy with.
