First, I'll make sweet passionate love to my wife, then immediately turn evil, thus breaking her heart.

After she has the kids, they are sent away to live with my brother in Utah or something.

I'll rise through the ranks of the government, eventually settling for a right-hand-man position, since I'm a shitty leader anyway but do enjoy the spoils of power.

A revolution will likely start at this point.  Over the years, I'll do what I can to crush it, but inevitably fail.  But somehow I always make it someone else's fault and avoid all the blame.

But alas, this will all be in vain, because eventually one of the twins will arrive, leading th revolution, and attempt to slay my boss.

Being a softy, I'll turn on my boss and aid my son in killing my ex-boss, but I have this feeling I'll be critically injured in the process.  But I'll die doing a good deed, and that's what matters.

The scorpion king movie had a quote where the priestess who could see into the future said that that is the fate of all kingdoms, eventually governments die and fall. On the Simpsons Lenny remarked to Carl about the Romans as that unlike his country they were crumbling apart. As of yesterday's newspaper it was said we just went further down hill and will be going broke soon with this recession & depression thing. It's a dark time once again in mans history full of natural disasters, global wars, and 10' 6" aliens coming back to destroy us around 2012 :S

We are a type 13 planet after all :(

Not non-hybrid seeds; non GMO seeds. Hybrid strains of plants are usually much hardier than pure strains. I've got this Low Rider x Purple Power Plant that is simply AMAZING. I do admit I AM growing a little Monsanto corn. Does that make me a hippocrate? Dunno and don't care. At least I don't have to worry about pests in my corn field.

I've seen societal breakdown, and you, sir, do not know societal breakdown.

The first thing I'd do is hoard what supplies I could (just like everyone else, so this will become very difficult very fast), like fuel, potable water, firearms and ammunition. 

Then I'd rally what family and very close friends I could.  There is strength in numbers, as long as you can travel fast and light (so not too many).  Pickups and SUVs are preferable for transportation (although they'll require more fuel).

Then we'd get away from major population centers.  Hopefully link up with other refugees/subject matter experts that are willing to consolidate.  Then maybe find a Walmart distribution center or something.

Then we will fight tooth and nail to survive.  But we won't, because there's no escaping Predator drones. 

It's too bad I don't have the sensibilities (or lack thereof) to be a land pirate in a post-apocalyptic world, because I'm big and intimidating enough to be AWESOME at it.  But at the end of the day, I'm a good guy.  Unfortunately. :(

Studies suggest that in this age of zombie video games and war movies, we have a detached belief that we can survive a collapse like that.  But the reality is that few of us, if any, would really survive for long.  Despite the fact that I'm a former bad ass who's been trained to survive,  even I recognize that under an NWO scenario I probably wouldn't survive for too long (unless they found me useful and chose to keep me alive).  Reality is a bitch.
