New(ish) to mugen, would like to make sprites

Hi, everybody. I've actually been playing mugen for a long time, but only recently got the itch to create something. I've always thought it was criminal that no one's made a 100% original hand drawn Alien or Predator (due respect towards HSR's creations or any I'm not aware of), so i figured I'd give it a try. After some failed attempts at fighter factory and trying to follow about a dozen tutorials made by 12 year-olds, I figured maybe I could just contribute a sprite sheet for the community as a whole. Which I started today:

Down to brass tacks: Ultimately I intend to make my own creations, but I'll likely need hands on help to learn the basics. If anyone can offer that I would GLADLY do requested sprite work. Any takers?

That looks pretty good, and animates pretty well too.  You planning to shade it some more?

I started it about 4 hours ago. It's in it beginning-est stages, shading will come in once the basic body is finished.

Sir, I don't know what tutorials you've seen, but elecbyte's official tutorials and docs are the best you'll ever need. If you're looking for other tutorials, then that's because you want someone to take baby steps and hold your hands the whole time.
That is my thoughts on a lot of people that claim mugen isn't documented well enough or that the tutorials are too hard.

If you actually would find that helpful but just didn't know about it, go into '[YourMugenFolder]/docs/mugen.html'. That is always included with mugen. If you can't follow it because you can't use some of the programs they used, THEN you have a reasonable problem.
Go to http://virtualltek.com and get fighter factory classic. I recommend using Photoshop for palettes and/or Jasc Paintshop-Pro for batch processing images, but there is a tutorial somewhere here for how to use Fighter Factory to make palettes.
