This Sagat would be based off his SvC sprites so keep in mind he would be much different. Obviously I see that I could do a better job converting him then the current SFIII sprite attempt or I wouldn't have considered him an option. Not to step on anyone's toes.

Sagat, Bison and Demitri would all be great. I actually play as Bison on almost everything and he's my favorite character, but Demitri would be the best (and most difficult) choice.

Demitri. Also, I'll offer to code him if you end up doing his sprites. I think his original Darkstalkers sprites might have a few things that his SvC sprites don't (notably Demon Blast/Demon Billion), would you be able to work those in somehow?

Definitely NOT a stupid question!! I have thought about that a lot myself. I am going to keep him without a cape, very close to how you see him in SvC.  Strider has proved to be a very difficult first full character to take on, which is why I have chosen these characters... I am looking for something that will be a little bit easier for me to take on this time around.

I guess a cape could always be added at a later time though.

I personally think a super boss version of Dictator would be best with a cape. Maybe one that has limited moves lots of psycho power and his feet never touch the ground. (How I remember him in SF2 the animated movie)

Demitri's at the top of my list.

Would be a cool conversion, and a great way to breathe life back into a popular character.
NO MORE CPS2;

I only use it for project-specific purposes.

He doesn't/can't code.
Very true! I don't have/ won't make the time to learn.

I will be converting them that is all, at best be making a complete sff file.
Strider has been more or less an experiment on how I would go about adding to the SF3 sprite pool. Commissioning a coder and working back and forth with rough sprites is not for me. I will just be making sprite packs from now on if I do a full character.
