Obtaining control over Team Survival's team mode select varaibles

Ok you know how for regular team mode, in the system.def file you have all these variables you can control, like p1.teammode.font and p1.teammode.item.spr  and all that stuff?  There are none written in the default template screenpack for "team survival"'s team mode select, and here's why that's become a problem.

I use custom fonts with sprites to make up the Team Mode menu select.  The team modes are titled "A" or B" or "C" or "D" and the specific font provides the background image for the menu which includes the text.  That all works jolly good until I try to select survival mode at the beginning of mugen.

Because there are no variables for me to control the survival mode fonts or titles or anything.  Does anyone know if there are variables that you can add in?  Maybe like p1.survivalmode.title  or p1.survivalteammode.font or anything like that?
