December is getting close.. The First release of Robot Master Mayhem is coming!

Crash Man vs Crash Man AI versus fight. His AI is a Wip, but its kinda aggressive.

pardon me but i have a few concerns regarding the gameplay.

imo, the entire roster having a powerset with specials on each button is a very bad idea especially if most of them are projectiles. that video alone shows the issues that come with it.

 theres simply very little variety and the moveset looks kinda bloated. the ai looks pretty dull since it spams projectiles instead of making use of it in combo's with the normals.

 a couple specials stand out while some are useless, for example, why use that green missle when you can shoot a couple? also all that envshake makes everything look way too chaotic with too much going on.

The specials aren't executed with a single button press. Instead, you need to input D,DF,F+K to activate them. Its the same command for all powerset, and you can only use the powerset you are currently using. To change it, you need to input D,D+any attack button. Each attack button chooses a different power set.

Not all power sets, in every character, are projectiles. But yeah, the are more common.

I agree with you. That AI isn't my work. I've just made it to change and use the powersets, but the base code was already done. After I uploaded the video, I've toned it down and changed somethings (it less spammy and now will try to run towards you).. But it uses the combos, if you come closer enough.

When I made the powersets for some characters, I've tried my best to make them as much unique as I could. To answer your question about the green missile, watch the video bellow:


The green missile is a slow and homming attack. The other one can be controlled and cause a fire spread if it hits the ground.
I like envshake a lot, I won't like. but maybe I can tone it down.

Note: Not all chars were made by me neither I agree with some decisions. I always try to give them my feedback about what I don't think it's not good (and I am hitting hard on that). But I have a limit to do it - I won't make the same mistake I made back in the Mvc:EoH era.

I am just helping them to finish this release. Probably, there will be a ton of feedback and things to fix  (I am aware there are things which could be way better). That is the idea.

I've finished playing with Fire Man. Right now, he is a very different character.
I've done a lot of work on him (not only power sets this time):

- Better intro and new win
- Overall check
- New effcts everywhere
- new codes in many states
- new AI
- New power sets
- New sounds, animations and etc



====COMMANDS=====

QCF+K - Power Sets*
QCB+P - Dash Attack (still needs tweaking)
QCB+K - Firestorm

QCB+PP - Hyper Dash Attack
QCB+KK - Flame Hurricane
QCF+KK - Inferno Blast
D,D,D + KK - Shun Goku Satsu (LEVEL 3)

WK- Fire ball (buttons sets the velocity and p1 pushback)
MK- Plasma ball (buttons sets the delay and velocity)
SK- Flamethrower (buttons sets the duration)

WP- Fire Helper (buttons controls the duration and the helper velocity. Walk or run to see it). Input the same command to shoot the helper.
MP- Fire Trap (buttons controls the duration)
SP- Flame Dive (buttons sets the delay)

Phew, November was a very busy month for me  /:O

Here are some info about my works:

• I've finished my work for Laspacho's Robot Master Mayhem, finally.


It was a long work! I've been helping and working on this project more actively since 2016, while doing other things. In recent months, I've gone into a turbo mode to finish several things and make it possible to launch the project.

Among the things I did (and I remember, there were many things) are:

First, the old jobs
- Burst Man > update in supers, hypers and AI


-Roll > General fixes and create all powersets


- Top Man > full release (I've reworked a lot of things from the prior coder, new specials, supers and Powersets)


- Blade Man > Haven't finished him and he won't be on the next release sadly.


- Metool Boss [ > general improvements in his code


- Yellow Devil > improvements and fixes


Most recent works

- Cut Man > reworked specials, animations (clsn boxes), codes, AI and all power sets.


- Snake Man > finish some moves and code the powersets


- Crash Man > Fixes (codes, animations and AI) and all powersets


- Fire Man > Revorked all the animations (clsn boxes), new effects, recoded some supers and all powersets. He is a different character now.


-General fixes > In all characters from the game. Improved animations (with clsn boxes), codes, AI and bug fixes. This consumed a lot of time.

• Commissioned works
I've made many commissioned works, but most of them are private so I can't talk too much. Range from simple animations to stages, complete characters and there is even a full game on progress.

Some works includes
- Superman > 2 New Hyper moves (still working)


- Daken > 2 New Hyper moves


And some other cool stuff I can't talk about yet :)

It looked like I was away from Mugen, but boy...actually I was working A LOT behind the scenes ;)

PS: this includes only my Mugen works. I am working in two more engines...

Preview of the Superman's second hyper move (level 3) I was asked to code for a Mugen character. No he is finished :)


Don't ask me for the character, as far as I know its a private character and won't be released.
I've enjoyed a lot coding this :)

Hello guys.
After a short break (which was needed, since RMM was a huge load of work), I am back to work.

Some news:

Killer Croc > Almost finished with his update. I am working on his Lvl3 hyper (Jmaxx had a pretty cool idea for that) and trying to make a new hyper for him.

Nightwing > Slowing working on him. Last update was his counter move and started the second mode (he will have 3 of them)

"Mega Man boss" > This was coded to RMM and will be included on the next 1.1 update. It is already coded and I liked the result a lot. HyperVoiceActing did a great job with the voices. It's a not yet converted boss, as far as I know.

RMM > I am working on bug fixes for all RMM characters, plus some new stuff.
I gave Woodman two new throws,including a cool backbreaker

(yes, the arms will be behind p2)

And other cool stuff.

That's awesome O Ilusionista. Good luck. I bet Night wing is a challenge to code. Do you plan on updating killer Croc? I noticed he has a clone glitch on add004 basic tag. Just letting you know if you're interested in trying tag because I can't figure out what's causing it.


I plan to update him for sure, but I don't have plans to fix him for this tag.

Dont worry O Ilusionista. Croc is fixed now with the addpie update. Nothing you had to do on your end. Probably just a text capitalization error.

You should try tag with your characters some time. Its too fun. Below is the fix Shiyo did for future reference:

updated pie.exe. please use the latest one (ver.10019 / add004pie_10019.zip from OneDrive)
restore your char (Killer Croc) and convert him again.

issue details:
old "pie.exe" reads char's info from its *.def file useing case-insensitive.
ex: "common1.com" != "Common1.cns" != "common1.CNS"

pie ver.10019 ignores the case of characters in reading char's info.
ex: "common1.cns" = "Common1.cns" = "common1.CNS"

this may cause unexpected error in future.

Killer Croc Update is definitely looking cool and I'm really looking forward to Nightwing. RMM seems to be a game with very high production value.
