Well, it's been about that long since the last release, so I feel as if this update is more than warranted.
To summarize what's been changed, I provide thee, the readme! (Warning : Extremely long!)

However if you don't feel like reading all of it, since it is very long, the file is included with the download as well. To summarize, this update streamlines Vega's gameplay significantly and adds a ton of polish using data from CVS2 for a lot of things. The EX moves have been tweaked slightly(some even removed! Well, only one...) and his normals have been changed to be much better. Overall, a definite improvement.

Please leave feedback, and as an addendum to the To-Do list in the readme, I need to polish up my code that I added in as well and clean it up a bit. Either way, enjoy!

Knee Press does feel much better. However, I can't seem to perform the KPN finisher.
Also, personal preference, but I would have preferred EX Psycho Banish to stay (for it to be a simply faster version).

Ah! I forgot to mention the finisher is gone. It felt strange and very...unlike Vega to have a followup to a super like that. So I made the ultimate decision of omitting it entirely. My apologies for not mentioning that at all in the readme! The nixed EX Psycho Banish felt useless and for 500 meter the move needs real utility. It didn't do anything the original version couldn't.

Also, some cancels have been changed. You can't cancel into specials from HP, cr.HP, or most of your far/close kicks beyond light. However you CAN supercancel out of Cr.HP and standing HP, both close and far. Only supers though.

Congrats on this new release. I like most of the changes you've made to Bison but  I have to admit that not being able to cancel a close standing hp into special moves seems really weird.
Living off of borrowed time the clock ticks faster...

I believe that is how it was in CVS2, sorry. I want to keep this Bison very close to his game of origin beyond a few little tweaks.

Alright sorry, I misunderstood that and thought you were going for a more SF4 feel to your character seeing that his jumping mk had a bigger hitbox. Kind of a mistake on my part.

I will check to see if MP to HP is a link in CVS. I'll report back after my findings.


SO AS IT TURNS OUT, P.O.T.S. was silly and had a CHAIN COMBO(just ONE) for MP into HP in the CMD. Removed. Gonna reupload by tonight.

Updated 14-03-2014. Changes were added to changelog, but to restate
03-14-2014 (Update)

- Fixed a CHAIN COMBO he had for some reason(Why POTS)

- Frame advantage on Psycho Crusha adjusted.

- Increased chip damage of Level 3 Super.

- Fixed Invul frames on EX Head Press.

After the Heartbreak dispair is blocked Vega just kinda freezes up for a few seconds looks pretty odd ...

I miss my b-n-b cross up I cant link Hp to Psycho impact anymore :-( but I understand why it was removed ... this feels pretty damn solid, thank you for this!

Yes, this Vega has the color separation patch so you can go nuts with palettes if you want.

As for Heartbreak Despair(I presume you mean his level 2), with the way it was before, it was....a bit too good if the enemy blocked it. I had to compensate somehow and extended recovery was the only way I could think of. I also realize I need to fix something in his QCFx2 P super but that will be uploaded tonight or tomorrow when I'm done doing what I believe should be done with it. Either way I appreciate the input!

Are you sure POTS's Bison is supposed to be like his CvS2 version? I always thought of POTS's creations as combinations of all their incarnations while leaning slightly closer to Capcom vs. SNK 2 or Capcom Fighting Evolution.

Also, no more EX Psycho Vanish!? That was my number 1 go-to move!  :P

Kinda like Guy's teleport in Alpha Anthology.

Well POTS Vega was nothing like his ANY version before my update, honestly. His velocities felt floaty, he himself felt a little slow, and while it was an okay character to begin with, it needed a lot of polish. I just used CVS2 as it was the closest and most reliable reference.

But when that ton of stuff all feels wrong and out of place within the character, it ultimately results in a worse experience. CVS2 was the basis I used because I had access to a lot of direct data from it, but he still has a bunch of moves he didn't have there. If this isn't a fair compromise I don't know what to tell you. POTS used primarily CVS2 stuff in his Vega so I took it in that direction. The sprites, a majority of the movelist, and the voices. I figured it was the most logical step to take.

Why? you haven't edited Vega II insteat of this Vega

Vega II by Phantom.of.the.Server is newer than this cacharater, the post is in the website, I need someone fix his AI, because it's very difficult to beat him
