Something doesn't look right about his head there.....Anyway, I hate to ask, but how did you do that thing in your 2nd video? On your character select screen where both the portrait and character standing animation & win pose is working? I thought that was something that is not possible, especially in winmugen? Can this work on mugen 1.0 as well? I read that this may be possible on some engines like Shugendo, but from your videos you are running Mugen. So I guess there is a way to do this after all?

It's a trick you can do for a full game : you code the animated portraits in the icon itself (the square usually surrounding the small portraits), and use the "selected char cursor" animation to display the winpose.
offtopic: Is there a tutorial for this? The character looks done pretty well but, the shading on the sprites are off. Also, the winpose looks a little bit skinny (Gouken's back turned)

QuoteThis is possible in Mugen 1.0! =Dit works on winmugen too (btw, you're using the winmugen at the video)don't get me wrong, but instead of tricking people, you should teach people how to do the same.ξ Bastard said, March 06, 2011, 10:58:35 pmIt's a trick you can do for a full game : you code the animated portraits in the icon itself (the square usually surrounding the small portraits), and use the "selected char cursor" animation to display the winpose.exactly

Better yet, the entire tutorial would help with this. I am intrigued at trying to do this for my own mugen.
thank's for see man.. now i make 3º special and finish more 2º combos and release char for mugen, .. =Dsee yaa o/
Keep it up, Traveller^^ It's nice to see you making new chars. I'm not playing with pocket characters latelly, but I might give a try when you release him^^
