Yeah... I've got Diamond, I was wondering if I could unlock pal park without having to trade a Palkia with anyone.

If I have to see Palkia do I need to trade with someone who has him, or can I just battle someone who has him.

Just go to Celestic Town after you beat Team Galactic.
Go to Cynthia's house and it will let you look at a picture of Palkia and add it to the pokedex.
